Overview

Reverb emulates the natural echo that occurs because of an environment's acoustics. Think of how your guitar would sound if you plucked a note while standing in a big empty gymnasium-the RV400 can produce that sound, even if you're playing in your bedroom!

The RV600 contains BEHRINGER's Real Sound Modeling (RSM) processor and DSP technology, giving it the incredible power to make your guitar sound like you're playing in a cave, a cathedral, or even the outer reaches of the cosmos. With the RV600, putting studio-caliber reverb into your signal chain is easier than ever before.

Just twist the dedicated dial to select dead-on modeling of Ducking, Space, Cave, Tile, Echo, vintage '63 Spring, Spring, Plate, Room, Chamber and Hall reverbs. Tweak the dedicated Mix, Decay, Time and Tone controls along with the Trails On/Off switch to create reverb that is resonant, abrupt, or just plain otherworldly! The brilliant blue LED tells you when it's working while the top-quality on/off switch preserves the signal integrity in bypass mode. You can power this stomp box with a 9V battery or a DC power supply (not included).

Why settle for one species of reverb? Plug into the RV600 and bring the whole evolutionary tract along for the ride.

Yes, the housing is plastic. No, it probably wouldn't hold up to heavy touring use. Yes, the little blue indicator light is insanely, blindingly bright. Yes, it says "Behringer" on it. BUT (and this is a BIG "but") this thing is about as good a digital reverb as you could ask for, especially for the price. My current go-to amp is a little late-70s Sano tube monster with no reverb. Bought one of these after looking at the Holy Grail, Hall of Fame, and whatever else was on the market. This reverb pedal sounds as good or better than either of those other two, and they cost more than twice as much as this. Yes, it is a clone of the old Line 6 Verbzilla. So what? It sounds freaking great. Can't really find much use for the "Shimmer" setting, but the '63 Spring, Spring, Plate, and Cave settings are surprisingly good, and surprisingly hard to tell from the real thing. A great buy for the $$. Just don't get hung up on the name.

Comments about Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine Modeling Effects Pedal:

Being that this a a Behringer, Some would say it's junk....though I find for the price, this Reverb is shockingly sweet...I have many pedals Digitech, Boss, Tc Electronics, Mod tone, Electro Harmonic, Fender Volume pedal....Etc. It's not about buying the cheapest reverb out there, nor do I buy by the name on the pedal for that doesn't make a pedal great. It's about the sound the pedal produces, also what your ear wants to hear. A lot of whacked people out there so bent on having the Status named pedals that they forget what I already stated is important. This pedal is unbelievably sweet sounding and it is a welcome addition to my pedal board and I got a bonus as well (price). I have yet to find something better that isn't 4-5 times the cost. As I said.. It's what your ears are hearing that makes the pedal great....not the name or the price or even the color. I will just add one last thing,...As my style of playing is Christian music and this fits my type of playing perfectly.

Comments about Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine Modeling Effects Pedal:

Put the Behringer jokes aside, this is an excellent pedal. Great variety of effects and very good sound. No signal path noise from this pedal. I would have given it 5 stars if the construction was more durable. A solid metal case and upgraded hardware would make this a hard to beat pedal and would probably still be a great value.

Seriously. For the money, you just can't go wrong. This is a fabulous addition to my VHT Special 6 Ultra that has no onboard reverb. No reservations at all about this purchase.

Comments about Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine Modeling Effects Pedal:

Put the Behringer jokes aside. This pedal is versatile and does its job very well at an affordable price. If you don't need a pedal that can withstand rough conditions (home use, for example), you should definitely consider this one. I have no pedal noise in my signal path and can't rave enough about the range of reverb options this pedal provides. Its a winner. I would give it 5 stars if it was built more substantially.

Comments about Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine Modeling Effects Pedal:

I have wanted to add a shimmer effect to my sound since the first time I heard it, but couldn't afford to buy a high end pedal for the sake of one effect. The RV-600 has an awesome shimmer effect (and many other terrific reverbs) for under $50.00. It's a blast to use and adds a nice warmth. The only draw back is I have to unplug the input jack when not in use to save the battery. A pedal board supply will eliminate that problem in the future.
