Overview

The Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer is packed with features that are great for live gigs. The PMH2000 gives you 6 mono channels with ULN mic/line preamps with -25dB pads and peak LEDs, switchable phantom power, super-musical 3-band EQ, plus independent effects and monitor sends. In addition, you get 4 stereo channels: 3 with the same ULN mic/line preamps, EQ, and sends, but with left and right 1/4" connectors, plus one channel especially configured for tape, CD, or MD players with stereo RCA inputs and recording outputs.

The PMH2000 also features a built-in 250W stereo power amplifier and a flexible master section, including 2 - 9-band graphic equalizers that can be assigned to left and right main mix or to main mix and monitor out, augmented by a switchable low-cut filter for channels 1-6. Both graphic EQs feature an in/out switch for quick comparisons or bypassing. Power amp inputs are available for connecting external mixers or sound sources, and there are 3 preamp outputs for added flexibility. A footswitch connector allows you to remotely bypass the effects section with a standard footswitch.

The main and monitor sections each feature individual level controls, a 5-segment LED level meter, and a master effects send level control. In addition, the integrated limiter offers effective protection against speaker overloads.

Last but not least, the PMH2000 sports a 24-bit effects unit based on Behringer's Virtualizer Pro and Modulizer Pro effects processors. It delivers 99 great-sounding presets ranging from standard reverb and delay to more unusual algorithms like Vinylizer, Magic Pitch, Vocal Distortion, and Space Radio. All of this power and potential is enclosed in a compact, rugged enclosure with tough vinyl covering, high-impact protective corners, and a practical handle.

I can't believe it's this price

By Edward

from Laredo Texas

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

Wow!!! I borrowed this powered mixer from a friend and used it to play with my band outdoors. I connected EVERYTHING: vocals, drums, keyboard, electric guitar AND bass. I used a pair of B52's twin 15" speakers. Output power is incredible and crispy clear sound! I would definitely going to buy one for myself.

No Complaints

By Joey H

from Mebane NC

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

This is by far the best mixer you can get for the price. I was told by a friend that they were awful, but i got one for Christmas. It looked really nice to me! And it is! I am currently running it with two peavey pr12 loudspeakers for mains, and i cant turn it up past 2 at the most or else i risk drowning out my band mates. All but one have REALLY loud setups, and so it made me grin when i plugged this beauty up and tried it. Overall, the quality is superb and i would recommend this to anyone who would like a nice mixer and is on a budget.

What a Mixer!!

By pianistfingers

from Fairfax, Va

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

The PMH2000 is a great mixer for bands on a budget. It will take in vocal mics, and there is enough space to plug in keyboards and line-outs from amps or mics for amps if you need that. My band and I spend hours just fooling with the effects, which are wonderful as usual for a Behringer product. It packs quite a punch in practice and onstage, a perfect buy for a small band just starting out!

What, it's only 299??

By Roy

from MA

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

wow, this thing has power. I think I lost 40% of my hearing in the first week my band started using this.. because, when you didn't think Behringer could improve their mixer, they did by supercharging it. Fantastic for all kinds of shows - biggest venue we've used this in is in a decent size room about 45 yards x 30 yards and we still end up getting asked to turn the volume down. Very rugged, very good quality. Thanks Behringer + Guitarcenter-!

Behringer EUROPOWER

By EZ

from Marlboro

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

Behringers are great. They are cheap and they mimic more expensive brands, but have the same quality equipment. This mixer is cheap and well rounded. Has everything you need for any simple mixing application. It has a nice solid case around it to protect it from anything that might kick it or drop on it. Very durable equipment that has a great sound to it.

Great Deal

By Steve

from Hammond, IN

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

This powered mixer is LOUD... I use it in the bridged mode (500W) for my band because all i use it for is vocals. But it doesn't end there... I plan on getting 2 behringer Eurolive B212s to use as monitors with my 2 15" mains... The effects aren't the best until you get to the vinylizer and the modulation effects... chorus sounds really amazing. I've had mine for 8 years now and it still sounds great and has NEVER failed me once. Great for a weak singer in a garage band which is what I am. I used it for shows and we have the problem of it being too loud and having to turn it down. We play pop/punk which combined with the hardest hitting drummer in the world and a 300W bass amp makes a good statement for this mixer's power/ability. Overall, best buy for the money.

Simply Awesome!

By SpitfireRock

from Peru, IL

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

When I first took the PMH-2000 out of the box, I knew I was going to like it. As a musician who is short on cash, it really gets the job done. One thing though, that when playing chords clean on my Strat, it would clip my speakers (Which aren't very good anyway, so) but when I put overdrive on it was fine. I loved how easy it was to use. Just plug your stuff in, set the band-pass right, and play. I have never used it in live gigs yet, but in my basement, it sounds great with my speakers if I just watch the volume. The built in effects processor sounds great. There are some nice echo effects, as well as some very amusing pitch effects (Try 3 voice and talk into it.)

PMX2000 mixer

By ViVaLaKobi

from Cary, NC

Comments about Behringer PMH2000 Europower Powered Mixer:

First of all, this is a Behringer PM-X-2000 not PM-H-2000 mixer in case you were having trouble finding it elsewhere. The mixer really is great. I wasn't expecting much from such a cheap buy. I use this with 2 KUSTOM KPC15 speakers and it gfets the job done. It does seem to peak easily thouugh. just turn down the source and turn up the outpu on the mixer and you can still get some REAL sound out of it. I would highlt reccomen this to any gigging band.
