The Behringer LD6230 EUROLIGHT dimmer pack is a high-end 6-channel DMX/analog controller with functions ideal for TV studios and other fixed installations. You can control it either digitally using its DMX512 interface or with analog control by using the additional 8-pole DIN connector. The Behringer LD6230 dimmer features an adjustable preheat and limiter function for prolonging light bulb life. Various transmission characteristics of the control signals from the lighting console are made possible with its precise curve function. The Behringer LD6230 dimmer pack features a switch option that allows a simple on/off control of each channel. An automatic digital input check detects DMX signal errors. When in manual mode, dimming the lights can be done even without an external lighting console. The Behringer Eurolight dimmer's autostore function saves all settings after leaving configuration mode. The Behringer EUROLIGHT lighting dimmer pack features a 3-digit display and dedicated control LEDs as well as HARTING and CEE connection options (connectors not included).
NOTE: connectors are not included. Behringer recommends that connections be made by experienced lighting techs or electricians.
The dimmer's DMX out is a 5-pin (European-style) type and requires a 5-pin to 3-pin adapter (not included).

Comments about Behringer LD6230 Eurolight 6-Channel Lighting Dimmer Pack:
I reciently purchased the LD 6230 and discovered some prizes and some surprises. Of the prizes I found the packs channel grouping to be quite handy for the applications Ive used mine for thus far also Ive been able to utilize the "limiting " feature in a unique way - as a sort of pre set- when I patch 1 analogue control channel to mutiple dimmer channels. Now for the surprises. The pack is designed to operate off of 20 amps 120/208 volt three phase (a wye type of system)-not avalable in most of the venues I work so I have found a SAFE way around this and STILL mantained full capacity BUT this scheam only will wotk with even numbers of packs. The other surprise for us old electricians is making the analogue conttol cable the plug is too small for old eyes and fat fingers.Iwish Behringer would use a larger plug or offer pre-made pig-tails. Aside for some minor inconviences Ive found my LD6230 to be a very capible dimmer pack at a good price and plain to recomend it to one of my proffesional customers. I will also recomend that they purchase through Guitar center because they offer fast and accurate customer service.
