I was looking for an interface to plug into my computer, but I found this. It was also cheaper, and a great subsitute for the interface. I just bought myself a RCA to 3.5 cable, and plugged it into my microphone section into my computer. Worked great, and I recorded both vocals and guitar into this thing. Saved me money, instead of having to get an interface.

This mixer is fairly good. Its quality is not the best, but if you are beginner it will get you through. I own one of these, and i own one of the 16 channels as well. The fact that it has two mic inputs is very nice, and its rugged steal design makes it like a tank. however the sound quality comes out not as great as it looks. It is a good device for beginners, and if you are a fairly experienced musician looking forward to grow in music, this might not be the best mixer for you. I would suggest this to people who just want to mess around at home, jam with friends etc., definitely not something i would use live.

Very rugged, despite low price

By dwilly

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

I bought this mixer because I needed something I could trash and then throw away. I have taken this mixers to burning man 4 times and used it at numerous karaoke shows and it still keeps working! This has been the best value piece of DJ equipment I have used! There are a few cons ... 1) effects sometimes do not work, 2) sliders get sticky. However, the ruggedness and ease of use of this mixer far out-weigh the cons.

Great for that garage band you were thinking about

By Roy

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

The preamp really does a good job - this is a mixer fit for your beginning band's coffehouse gigs. Works fine and is faithful - gave mine away to some friends a couple years ago and it's still working for them. 5+ years on the thing... a great buy

Great when workin with the right stuff

By Mr. Metik of Hi-Enaz Slapz

from Sacramento, CA

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

The only thing you need to make this thing professional is some decent software, a decent mic, and of course a decent artist. The invisible preamp is amazing, however it does not rid 100% of the buzz, which is where a good "noise reduction" feature comes in. With it's RCA inputs and outputs you can import virtually any sound you want. Two XLR inputs, so you don't jave to worry about certain adapters and things like that (however this is common in mixers). At a deal of 40-50 dollars you are getting your money's worth, and more. Great product and worth the money.

Cheap price...and build quality.

By coolwhip

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

I bought one of these a while back for one purpose - to run a pair of in-ear monitors for my band's drummer, so he could mix in a monitor feed and his metronome. For $39, you can't beat this little gadget, except for one thing - they break. I'm on my third unit, and while they're covered under warranty, having something like this go out during a gig isn't cool at all. That being said, maybe I've just been unlucky. The third one has been going fine for over 6 months now. For the price, though...nothing else even comes close to touching the value, if you can get one that works consistently.

Tremendous For Price

By fxmusician

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

I've been using this for over a year for recording , for video mixing, & podcasting. And it hasn't failed me yet. I didn't expect such a great mixer at this low price, with phantom power. Behringer makes really great feature laden mixers at low prices.

Great for home recording!

By epilespaul101

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

My friend just recently left for school, and gave me this mixer. I have to say it is absolutely perfect, and the price was right! My band uses it a lot for recording drums, and we use it as a pre amp for vocals and the guitars. It is a very easy item to use, and produces exceptional sound. Buy it, you will get your money's worth.

Cheap Little Mixer

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

The Behringer UB802 is a great little mixer for a low cost. I've used mine regularly for about a year now for my in-ear monitor mix without any problems. I'm quite careful with my equipment though. I also use another UB802 (not mine) on a regular basis that has taken a bit more abuse and the XLR jacks or underlying connections seem to be slightly loose, which is problematic. I may open it up and try to repair it myself sometime. The quality of these mixers don't match up to the quality of higher end mixers, but then again the price doesn't get anywhere close either! The proprietary power is also a slight annoyance, but I can live with that. Bottom line, a few tiny issues that you won't really notice that much on an otherwise great little mixer for a difference in your pocketbook that you *will* notice!

Comments about Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer:

I bought this for testing my home theater speakers. I only use a few of the features of this mixer, but it's rock solid. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
