The 15" Behringer EUROLIVE B815NEO 2-way speaker boasts an incredible array of truly professional features. Like the entire EUROLIVE 1,200 NEO series of loudspeakers, the EUROLIVE B815NEO is a brute providing extreme levels of low-end punch, with the kind of high-fidelity definition and clarity typically reserved for much larger systems. This powerful new Behringer speaker system outperforms its predecessor yet it weighs 30% less.
Class-D Works its Magic
What's the secret? The state-of-the-art EUROLIVE B815NEO active loudspeaker is powered by a custom-engineered Class-D amplifier, which drives the low- and high-frequency transducers to their limits without even the slightest hint of distortion. Best of all, Behringer's Class-D amplifiers use switch-mode power supplies, which don't need massive transformers and heat sinks, so they provide a much better power-to-weight ratio than many otheractive systems.
Put simply, the cool-running EUROLIVE B815NEO system is much lighter than its predecessor, making it ultra-easy to transport and set up. The no-compromise design means you get solid punchy bass, along with powerful mids and pristine highs that will keep the party going all night long.
Digital Signal Processing
From the instant the signal enters the EUROLIVE B815NEO system, the digital processor takes over, ensuring the highest possible signal integrity. Much more than just selective EQ enhancement, the 24-bit DSP (Digital Signal Processor) circuitry analyzes the signal and intelligently applies specific filters to actually improve the sound quality. It's like having a tiny sound guy inside each enclosure (with all the best gear), monitoring the input and output signals, dialing in the perfect EQ, and constantly making subtle adjustments to the crossover, compressor/limiter, and more.
The transducer (speaker) is the only part of a sound system you actually hear, so Behringer doesn't cut any corners. They wind their own voice coils, process the paper pulp into cones and even machine the frames and back plates. This enables Behringer to control the quality, and frankly, make better components&mdeash;like the neodymium woofers and 1.75" neodymium titanium diaphragm compression drivers deployed in the EUROLIVE B815NEO loudspeaker.
Power to Spare
Cutting-edge technology and high-fidelity transducers are not all it takes to get your message across—you need power, and lots of it. At the heart of the EUROLIVE B815NEO is a bi-amped 1,200-Watt engine capable of driving the speakers to their very limit, without the slightest hint of distortion. When it comes to pure output power, the EUROLIVE B815NEO loudspeaker will simply blow you away with its massive punch, smooth mids, and articulate top-end.
Instant PA System
With just a single EUROLIVE B815NEO loudspeaker system and one or two dynamic microphones, you can set up an instant sound system. The onboard mixer features a LEVEL control for each input and a dual-band master EQ, complete with an adjustable LOW CUT filter to help eliminate annoying breath pops and mic handling noise. An additional filter, called the CONTOUR, allows you to select SPEECH (for enhanced voice intelligibility), or MUSIC for the broader frequency range required for the high-fidelity reproduction of music. And, if you need more coverage, you can chain together as many as you like via the convenient LINE OUT XLR connector.
When laid on its side, the EUROLIVE B815NEO loudspeakers tilt to the ideal angle for onstage monitor wedge applications. Hookup is simple, requiring only a single XLR cable from the monitor send on the mixing console and, of course, power. Additional monitors can be chained together via the XLR LINE OUT jack on the loudspeaker's rear panel.
More Than Just a PA Loudspeaker
The EUROLIVE B815NEO loudspeaker also makes an excellent onstage monitor for keyboards, acoustic guitars, or any line-level instrument for that matter. You can plug your instrument into MIC/LINE 1 and use the MIC/LINE 2 input to connect the monitor signal from the PA mixing console, so that you can also hear the other members of your band. This opens up lots of possibilities.
If you want to use more than two instruments, you will need a submixer to mix down the signals. You will need a special adapter to convert a standard 1/4" TS cable to XLR, or a direct injection box.

If you are like I was, beating your head against the wall trying to figure out which powered speakers to buy, your problem is solved, these are the ones. I ran a system with passive speakers for over 20 years and was reluctant to go to powered speakers, actually I did back in the 90s, I purchased two under powered JBL EONS and was terribly disappointed. Apparently powered speakers have come a long way and these Behringers deliver. I am about two and half months into use with them and they continue to amaze me. As one previous reviewer said, they are loud and crystal clear. I never have to set the volume controls above 4 and even less for smaller rooms. I have teamed them with a B1500D Behringer sub, I will soon be adding another. I have to tell you though, in most of the smaller to medium sized venues in which I play, one sub is plenty. I have only played one place where I felt I need more bass and that was in a huge hall. Set up time for me is much easier with these speakers and unlike my old passive speaker systems, sound check is much quicker and easier, just set the controls on the back of the speakers in the same place each time and they will sound the same every time. You can make minor adjustments to fit the room on the fly. ' The only remaining question mark is their durability, only time will tell that. I am planning to buy another one of these to have as a backup. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the B815 NEOs.
This speaker really cranks! I own a pair of the earlier generation of these Neo 15's and they are still awesome. These really put out crisp clear sound at extremely loud volumes without any hint of distortion. I bought a pair of these new generations along with a pair of B1800 PRO subs and it is unbelievable. You won't be sorry! I compared these with the EV's, Mackies and JBL's of similar specs and these by far give the most bang for the buck. I personally think they sound better. Owning the previous gen and knowing their reliability, I had no reservations in buying these.
Solid mids and highs with impressive bass response. Pushes sound great distance. Effortlessly provided background music for a trade show, held in large hotel atrium. Probably could have used one speaker. Both were set to 1/4. BEWARE: THESE ARE LOUD- I wouldn't recommend setting gain higher than 3/4... no distortion but difficult to effectively(slowly) increase headroom to your mixer beyond that point. hehehehe Great sound and range for the cost.
I bought top of line powered ev's 2 years ago..2 tops (15's) 2 bottoms (18 subs)..was dissapointed in the sound for the money$$$ so a dj buddy bought them from me since like me he was about name brand hype. I decided to just get something cheaper and bought this speaker to see how it would sound. It is a joke stopper...it hits harder than i can explain. If you play this speaker outside on 3 or 4..the law will be called on you!...yes its that good...and yes it happened :) There are few things in my life that i have bought that i actually felt i got more than my money's worth..this is one of those. This speaker will keep up if not blow away the big boys for half the money...my dj friend has had to send his ev's back for speaker replacement 3 times...he has borrowed mine and says they blow his away with half the power and has since bought 2 for himself. 2 of these and maybe a small sub for the ultra lows is ALL your band will need... They are reliable..LIGHT!!.crisp and clear..powerful..and just as good if not better than many of the top of the line break the bank speakers.....FACT
THIS SPEAKER IS THE NUMBER 5 I GET FROM BEHRINGER, AND IT'S THE BEST, IT'S VERY LIGHT, THE LOWS VERY POWERFULL, THE SOUND VERY CLEAR,IT'S JUST GREAT.
i have two of these bad boys and they are absolutely, tremendous! these speakers definitely spit out highs like no other, and the lows have an amazing punch to 'em. they're also quite light, only weighing about 50 pounds each and seem to be nice and sturdy to where they won't easily damage. it takes A LOT for them to clip, and if they do, a light in the back and front of the speaker will begin to flash. i recently deejayed at a hall with 300+ people and you could hear the music loud and clear in the bathroom! that's when you know these speakers mean business!
this is the best powered speaker i've ever had,it can walk with the big boys and stand on it's own.......thanks behringer.
