Overview

This proven workhorse shows you don’t have to spend a ton to get tight, professional sound and reliability. Crank up the volume on the EUROLIVE B215D at your next gig and you won’t believe your ears. Thanks to its extremely efficient Class D amplifiers, this 15 in. speaker delivers 550W of deep, low-end punch and clean, clear mid-range and highs for live performances, mobile DJ gigs or installations.

With a power-to-weight ratio that is better than most active speakers, the EUROLIVE B215D gives you all the power without all the backbreaking weight. Because its Class D amplifiers are so much more efficient, the B215D runs cooler and doesn’t require a large, heavy heat sink. That means you get a portable PA system that is easy to transport and set up by yourself.

The enclosure’s trapezoidal design makes it ideal for onstage wedge monitoring. Both XLR and TRS 1/4 in. inputs make connection to a mixing board a breeze. An XLR output lets you easily daisy chain additional B215D speakers to fit your stage requirements.

Another convenient feature of the B215D is its ultralow-noise mic/line input with a level control and a dedicated two-band EQ, allowing you to directly connect a microphone, MP3 player or other device for an instant PA system.

Behringer designed and built the B215D to punch above its weight class while standing up to the rigors of heavy use. Quality components give you unwavering performance at high sound levels and solid build quality give you durability and peace of mind. You won't get more boom for the buck than with the EUROLIVE B215D.

I bought 2 of these and so far they've been excellent. For what I paid for them I would have to say that these are definitely worth it. If you want a little extra tightness in sound go with Mackie but overall compared to the JBL's these are better just because they are cheaper. I was Barely pushing these speakers and they filled a good sized room up.

These are rubbish!! Dont get me wrong, Behringer makes very good sound equipment but these, they cut corners to slice the price. bought a pair of these and right away the horn driver on one speaker went out. they lack a protection circuit and pack 1000 watts into these without an external output, simply ridiculous, anyway i replaced it. and on a gig it went out again on the other one. I took these back and they gladly gave my money back. I ordered the pv 115d's and omg amazing crisp sound quality, large driver diaphragm, DDT protection, chest thumping bass, and the bonus passive speaker output (perfect for the PV 118) since these only need 400W and they sport an 800w amp which is really a lovely feature. 3 years of playing them around in gigs and they still sound as good as when i took them out the box. long story short, these behringer are good for a small band for vocals, or just public adress. but for music? forget it. in the same price range skip these and go with the PV115D.

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

I bought one of these to use in place of a keyboard amp I had that had a Black Widow speaker in it. I was quite skeptical but thought it would be worth a try..... All I can say is...WOW! I run two keyboards through a small mixer and the mixer into this and the sound is phenomenal. No distortion, and plenty of volume for any gig I've thrown at it. When I was looking at it in the store, I compared it to Yamaha, Mackie and EV, it sounded just as full if not better than they all did. I would definitely recommend this speaker looking for a quality unit at a great price.

We use this as a floor monitor and as a portable speaker when away from our church. It works great for both though as a floor monitor it is large and takes up valuable space in our limited band area.

dont under estimate these

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

I have only been djin for a few years now I started off with e Matrix B-52 speaker package and loved it but after moving to a new state and needing a new setup on a budget i got two of these powered speakers. Being new to the state i didnt have any gigs for awhile so i played these at home turning them up at all and they rocked my living room. Finally I got a Halloween gig at a small hall that holds about 150 people thinking i was going to need a sub from other reviews these things rocked the hall all by them self's. no bad feedback from anyone. i was suprised. I plan on adding a sub later for bigger venus but for now i am happy with these.

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

So ill keep this short. I bought one, I repeat ONE 215d. 1st day. Pool party, 105 degrease in the sun. Gain set around 10 o'clock. Had to turn it down cause the guy down the block heard me and was like, "wheres the party"? Another back yard party, AGAIN, ONE SPEAKER, had to turn it down cause the cops said they heard the music 4 freaking blocks away! one 215d with one 1800PROD can please a crowd of 150-200 people. I love you BEHRINGER!

Reliable. Best Quality Bass and Horn response for all highs and lows.

By Safin Momin

from Houston, Tx

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

Two Behringer B215D used in DJing events. After much research and budget, these speakers practically pay for themselves. I used them for two years now since 2010 and have not had any problems with sound quality ever. Design is excellent, although a few scratches do occur easily. Three knobs for gain, treble, and bass allow another way for anyone to easily control sound quality without a mixer. One XLR input and XLR output make easy connections from one speaker to the next. If you're a beginning DJ on budget, look no further.

Great Sound!

By Grayson Pruitt

from Raleigh, NC

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

Amazing sound comes from this wonderful speaker. People tell me that Behringer is bad quality, cheap junk. They are wrong. I own 5 things from Behringer and they are all great products. Never had a problem. This speaker has a great compression driver, clear but not harsh. The woofer is the perfect size for mids and lows. You think there is a subwoofer hidden somewhere. Great sound and great price. Great build quality too.

Trading pride for good sound?

By Bradford Clodfelter

from Missouri

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

I too am a "Gear Head" and a fan of high priced brands meaning I was skeptical about buying these. I use them for DJ applications and they were at my gig last night. They Sounded Great! (with some EQ'ing) I brought along a 10" powered sub because I heard the bass on these aren't that great but you can't expect much bass from a PA/loudspeaker anyways. They aren't designed to thump like a subwoofer stack in a club. I would recommend these to anybody doing a medium sized gig (bars, restaraunts, etc.) For the people complaining about the bass response (55hz+), try adding a subwoofer to your mix to get the place shaking. Also, my gig was outside, the inside gigs may not even need an extra sub. I have yet to test them inside. These were loud enough outside and my mixer volume was only turned up to 50% while the speaker's gain knob was at half turn. (unity gain for a line signal on the amp/speaker) I LOVE MY BEHRINGERS!!! I'm sure you will too when setup and EQ'd properly!

Great Mains

By Brad Kivisto

from Bay City, MI

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

I purchased a pair of these from Guitar Center of Saginaw, and not only was the customer service in the store phenomenal (Thank you, Drew!) but the sound quality, portability, and loudness of these speakers are easily worth more than I paid for them. I am a mobile DJ and needed something to accompany my B52 Matrix 1000 V2 which sound awesome good through a sonic maximizer, but the mains are very small and it did not look like a professional rig when playing for large venues. These speakers make my system look and sound INCREDIBLE, and were easily added to my current system simply with a microphone cable. I will also use these 2 by themselves for house parties, and venues where I am playing for a smaller room. They lack the bass of a full system, but I am willing to charge half the price because I will not need to use a big vehicle to get the equipment there, and will not have to lug around my 120ish pound subwoofer cabinet. This will make my service much more versatile, and I am sure I will book many more gigs. If you are on the fence about these speakers, get them. They will blow you away.

Singers...scrap that P.A.

By Lynn Messina

from Dunedin, Fl.

Comments about Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker System:

This is my SECOND set of these speakers and I wouldn't buy any others given the cost vs. quality ratio. I sing rock/metal and I used to lose in a constant volume war with guitarists until I started using these...I use my Alesis MicroVerb4 vocal processor and plug daisy style into the speakers and voila...I use a variety of vocal styles and these speakers push whispers, screams and everything in between. Guitarists, Bassists and Drummers have their own set up and I like having my own too. The speakers are potent but they still fit in my Accent hatchback w/the back seat down and I don't have to carry around a mixer til showtime!
