I have to give it up to Behringer for making these great inexpensive amazing quality speakers. I purchased 2 Eurolive B215A's for vocal useage in our jam space! We are a Hardcore/Metal band that was allways drowning out our vocalist! These active speakers made our singer's vocals come through with such raw power and clarity! He was taken back on who great they sounded and he does not have Lead Singer Syndrome at all! We are able to mic the bass drum and use them in the jam space for both vocals and drums with a small Behringer mixer. These speakers are constructed very well and are so easy to carry when transporting! These speakers are worth way more then what they cost! That does not mean the price has to go up!

I use this with my VDrums kit. It's ok, but lacking deep bass - it can thump you a little when I hit the kick drum, but is really missing the low end. On the positive side the thing seems to protect itself very well - I can hear the high end frequencies compressing when things get too loud - I use lots of cymbal and tambourine sometimes and haven't blown anything. It doesn't sound great at high volumes, but it doesn't burn up! :)

Simply Amazing

By Ian

from Culpeper, VA

These Speakers were awesome for the price. I was looking to invest in some pricy powered JBL's, but these caught my eye instead. So I bought them, tried them out, and became amazed. These speakers are great for any mobile DJ. They provide sufficient bass but planning on investing in some subs for that extra chest pounding feel.

WOW!!!

By Kevin Nelson

from Newville, PA

I wanted to put together a separate system for FOH or dj'ing. I already had some Behringer Subs sitting untouched beside my big FOH, so I thought why not try to match them up with these BA215A's. This was a match made in heaven. I am using the following, Xenyx2442fx mixer, EP2500 for subs, B1800x subs, and of course these new tops. WOW!!! Behringer has really stepped up their game with these speakers. I am totally blown away at the quality and I typically am very picky when it comes to selecting good PA speakers. These new top cabs are perfect for ANYTHING! The fact that they can be used as monitors is just amazing. They have all the features you would ever want and the price was great. I never expected Behringer to sound so good for putting together a cheap secondary system. I would put these tops up against any JBL, Harbinger, Mackie, or whatever else is out there that is powered. Behringer is winning my business back again!

Hey DJ. Don't Hesitate. Buy Them.

By Audiocake

from Atlanta, GA

Ok, I was a little shocked about the power of these units. I bought a pair because I had to DJ a wedding and I had some JBL's that needed to be replaced and I was running short on funds. I've read about every review out there about these and I simply swallowed and ordered two. These speakers are blaring. They have so much power. There's no way I could have cut them on full blast without deafening people a hundred yards away. They are very loud and with some tweaking of the controls on the back, you can make these things thump. Highly suggest a sub if you plan to entertain a group of 150+, but even without it, you'll get by fine. I have no hesitation in telling you that you could easily entertain up to 300+ with these pumping out 400 Watts per speaker. They are a GREAT set of speakers for the money. With independent controls on each of the speakers to tweak out treble and bass along with volume control if you plan on entertaining two separate rooms that need varying levels, it gives you great capabilities to cater them to what you need. Additionally you also have two ways to connect to a system including XLR and 1/4". And of course it includes a mounting in the bottom that has a tightening screw to keep it even more secure. They are a tad heavy though, but not unbearable. Very easy to use, but I have to take off a couple of points for a super short 6 foot power cable. For real? Give me enough cord to work with. I had to keep the speakers close to the outlets and when theyۡre mounted on stand, it doesnۡt even reach. That deficiency causes me to have to lug two more extension cords along for the ride. That's not cool. The quality was very good. The speakers are in a very tough durable plastic and it doesn't feel like a cheap hollow plastic but very solid, thick and durable. They look very professional also with a tough speaker grill. My dog knocked one off of a table and I was deathly afraid that the shock took it out of commission. No such bad luck. It kept on ticking. As for support, it seems like they have a good warranty in place, but like most of these manufacturers, they want you to send it back to them which means major downtime as opposed to being able to take it to a shop or local vendor to get it repaired. Haven't had any experience with this yet, but a 1 year warranty is standard for a PA speaker. I can't say enough about the value of these speakers. I am so shocked. A friend of mine who owns a high end version of JBL's was just awe struck at how much sound comes out of these things. He plans on picking up a pair as a backup in case the JBL's bite the dust on him. Great, great value on these speakers. Overall, if you're a DJ and need inexpensive PA speakers, look no further than these bad boys. I just can't say enough about them. I wanted a pair of the JBL PRX's SO bad, but I had to have a better PA for the wedding I was doing. And there just wasn't any way I was going to be able to afford a grand a piece for the JBL's. Now that I have these B215A's, I don't even have that itch any more for the JBL's. Not that I wouldn't want a pair of JBL's, but I don't need them now. These things are crazy loud and fill the room perfectly with a massive amount of sound. With exception to the short power cables, I am pleased as punch with these speakers. Don't hesitate. Break out the credit card and get them. They are really awesome.

Great greatness

By Mike Stone

from Golden, CO

I do my homework. When it comes to purchasing a new component for my mobile dj business, I have three criteria and in this order: features, quality, price. As such, these speakers worked out great for me. (I've got two) The Features are a base and treble knob as well as an overall gain knob. It's great to set those on the speakers depending on what event you're at so I can always aim to set my mixer to the same volume. Quality is great. I'm a mechanical engineer during the week and the materials, physical arrangements, and asthetics are all top knotch. Finally, the price has been consistant over the past year or so. I check GC and other websites at least once a week looking for deals and this particular product has been a staple for all mobile dj's and others alike. Like all the other reviews have said, this bad boy packs some heat! I've used it for outdoor events and even a high school homecoming last night. Good stuff.

Amazing..

By Cris

from Santee, CA

I needed a pair of speakers for an outdoor party I was playing at for my and my friend's birthday. I was going to just buy the harbinger HA80 and rent a couple of subwoofers since the rental place screwed up and charged me twice, therefore screwing me on my budget; however, one of the employees in the store suggested that I just buy a single B15A, and that alone would be sufficient. I set everything up, and sure enough, the speaker was so loud that people could hear the music from all the way down the street (this being in an industrial area). It's crisp, loud, clear, and far exceeded my expectations for a Behringer product. I have yet to hear a JBL speaker, but this will definitely hold me over until I get good enough for a better sound system. If you play music with deep bass like I do, I suggest investing in a subwoofer or two. Seriously, this ONE speaker is impressive, I can't even imagine two.

Amazing Quality. Great Price

By DJ Broom

from Whitinsville, MA

I bought two of these speakers so that I do not need to carry my 130 lb Gemsound speakers to every gig. I chose these because they were on sale and incredibly inexpensive. They are the best investment I have made into my DJ buisness so far! They are incredible, the only problem I have is that the highs are a little too high, but that can be adjusted with the built in mixer. I would recomend these speakers to anyone and everyone, they are loud and not too heavy. I have tested them with every kind of song I have and they still sound perfect with each song.

Dependable AND Sounds Great!

By Michael T

from Salem, OR

These are a great set of speakers. Very dependable. They have been my primary set of speakers for about 2 years/tons of gigs and they have never let me down. They sound great. Good for crowds of up to about 150, anything over that may need some subs. They are made out of some fancy plastic, they look great and travel well. Light and easy to set up; combine that with the price and you can't beat these speakers. Get them!

NOT disappointed at all..

By JJ

from Kissimmee, FL

I bought a pair about 6 months ago. I have no complaints. I do youth services and outreach events. These speakers have held up with clear sound and enough bass to fill the room. I'm anxious to get some subwoofers so I can set these with less bass and max them out. I highly recommend!!
