Grab'em While You Still Can!

By BillyShears

Comments about Behringer BX1200 Ultrabass 120W 1x12 Combo:

This is when Behringer combos were good. In fact, I think this was the best one they made! The new ones with the higher wattage don't sound as good as this. At 120 watts it was plenty loud. The Ultrabass effect was good too when used tastefully. I played an outdoor gig with three guitarist, drummer, and all. I was louder than everyone and playing a passive Fender. The new ones don't come near this in sound and punch. I am sorry I got rid of this amp, it was a good little amp with a lot of power for it's size. Get this one while you still can, the new ones are garbage!

Comments about Behringer BX1200 Ultrabass 120W 1x12 Combo:

I got the Behringer BX-12000 amp about 15 months ago when first learning the bass guitar. A friend gave my a Peavey 4-string I play on it. We play rock music. He has been playing music all his life, 40+ years, and he says the Behringer BX-1200 is way better than he thought it would be. He thought I would need 200 watts to keep up with his drums' and the 2 guitars' volume. Not so. I play this amp with all the knobs halfway up and sometimes they still complain I am louder, with my Peavey bass guitar turned a little past halfway up. The aluminum speaker captures the treble very well, but the midrange is also good. It handles my E string without difficulty no matter how hard I hit it. The pedal controls channel selection and the ultrabass feature. It is built to take alot of torture. The box is made like a tank. The weight is a good thing. This amp is a testament to good old-fashioned German craftsmanship. Everyone who hears or plays my Behringer BX-1200 really brags on it. I am very happy with my choice. I use the Monster Bass cables to it and from it into a mixing console. You will love the combination. I would recommend these products to anyone, regardless of experience. Thank you Behringer!!!

Great Practice/Rehearsal Amp

By Scott Simontis

from Alpharetta, GA

Comments about Behringer BX1200 Ultrabass 120W 1x12 Combo:

This amp is very good for a practice or rehearsal amp. However, it lacks depth to low notes, even with the ultrabass setting turned up. This amp could also probably work for very small gigs, although there are better choices out there. I would recommend you pick one up while you still have a chance, these things are great practice amps and very portable.

Not bad

By Mike Gee

from Baltimore, MD

Comments about Behringer BX1200 Ultrabass 120W 1x12 Combo:

The only thing this amp lacks is a lil tone. The tone is good enough but nothing to talk about. It's plenty loud for say playing in a full band for about 25 to 30 people. It's a practice amp what do you expect. I love the cd input.
