Easy mixing gone pro.
I bought this mixer for use in my home studio, and i couldn't be any happier. This mixer has all the effects you could ask for for live or recording. It has a usb to go straight to the computer, or you can run it thru a PA or a recording setup of any kind, like my Tascam Us 122. The EQ on the pre amps allows you to tweak any mic, vocal or drum mic, to get the sound of your dreams. So wither you're looking for a small mixer for a church, home studio, of gigs, this is the mixer will do the job and more.

2222FX Xenyx , good way to start
I bought 2222FX Xenyx mixer about two months ago. I have seen that this one have more inovating features. After this mixer I had one Eurorack, both mixers give you a almos perfect sound recording and live sound.
For the Eurorack, this one introduce you to the recording sessions, it is very easy to use it and very understandable. At the begining I started having problems with it, because it was limited on equalization, even in efects(it doesnt have any afects) but it really give you a soft sound with a pair of JBL, with a very little pink noise.
The xenyx have almos a triple eficacy than te eurorack, it is more controlable, you can mic the drumset and maybe two or three guitar amps, and you will get a very comfortable sound, you can use one effect for all, but if you know how to mix it well , you will end up with a great sound. It is more detailed in the equ, and for monitors it have the exactly out channels for it, maybe for a band of 4 or 5 members.
