  • Cheap stuff, don't buy it...

    I got this mixer based on the great experience w/ Behinger products in the past and was so disappointed with it's performance and quality, well what you'll expect of a cheap mixer right? Just not worth even a try, very noisy,the USB interface looks to be a plus but is the opposite, I use Serato Scratch Live and the software that comes with it is worthless. Returned it and got a Numark X6 w/ sound effects (it rocks!) 24-bit mixer faithfully transmits the precision of records, Cd's, and digital files with zero distortion and zero noise. In other words avoid Behringer VMX200 USB PRO MIXER

  • Can't beat it for features vs price

    I bought this mixer based on previous experience with other Behringer mixers I have owned as well as the feature set. The USB feature lets me run a playlist directly from my laptop on one channel while I mix to tracks from a CD player on the other. I primarily do Latin/Swing/Ballroom deejay so beat matching is not useful to me, thus I can't comment on that functionality. My only concern is the mic input. I would feel much better with an XLR input, though the specs say it is TRS balanced. I use a Shure SM7 for talkover, and have not noticed any problems, but a 1/4" mic input with no phantom power seems rather rinky-dink.
