good cabinet

durable, sturdy, can't beat it at this price, great tone range although it has a tendency of sounding a just little muddy at the low end with real heavy distorion but not significantly enough, i run a marshall head and it sounds good in both clean and distortion channels, will run good with effect and distorion pedals, full sound and durability, great for playing live, good enough for the studio.

good cab for the money

Pros wattage, sturdiness, looks Cons wheels, clean sounds dirty For the price this cab is really hard to beat. Construction is sturdy. Speakers are Jensen, even though not the greatest but not bad either. Compared to my Celestion speakers these sound cheaper and tend to produce some harshness that is not desirable on clean sound settings, yet on distortion it actually adds to the tone. The cab sounds surprisingly good on full-on distortion. There is plenty of power and this cab can handle all the way up to 250 watts. The wheels are where you can tell that quality has been slashed. After complaining to Behringer they sent me a replacement wheels and again same problem - they won't ever move in the same direction and they seem to get stuck a lot. Again - not a huge problem considering the price. If you play hard rock or metal and you're on a budget this 4x12 cabinet really delivers. If you're into clean sounds like Eric Clapton or SRV these speakers are most likely not for you.

Perfect Cabs!

I run a Marshall 100W Head through 2 of these bad boys! At first sight I was turned off by these cabs. But it was just because of the affordable price, go figure. I plugged in, played, and feel in love. For the first time, I was pleased with something that didn't cost me an arm and a leg! They are slightly bassey but this is not a problem; turn the bass knob on your head a little to the left and wah-la! They handle tons of abuse and the sound quaility is outstanding. They are extremely loud; 400W per cab worth! These cabs are just as good as any Marshall or Crate cab I've ever owned.

Decent for the price

These cabs are pretty heavy (about 105 lbs.), but very durable and loud. When I had one, I ran a Peavey Classic 30 through it and wasn't pretty happy with it. If you have a low budget and are looking for a cab, I'd say save at least another $100 and look for a used Marshall 1960 cab. If you have a decent head (especially a tube amp), I'd get something different. The Behringer cab made my Classic 30 sound pretty dull.

Behringer BG412S 4x12 Cabs

-- Bought two, both are great. I love the angled top speakers, really fills a room with sound as these are loud. I tune my guitars to G sharp and the cabs take and project the low bass notes extremely well. I run Sunn Beta amps into these with various pre amps... these cabs work well with whatever I put in front of them. -- Problems: tolex is cheep and tears easily, casters are terrible. BUT, for the money, these are rad. So, I'm buying two more soon, as the other side of the stage needs a few too. : )
