Behringer's Ultrabass BXL3000A delivers a ton of great features in an economical package. A wedge-shaped bass combo with a powerful 15" Hard Attack aluminum cone speaker and 300W of output, it is a perfect size for most gigs. It provides a clean and a distortion channel, each with full control. Good amp, good features, good price

I’ve had this amp for about two weeks. I bought this amp so I could have a good practice amp and something that could hold its own during group practice and/or at a live small venue. This amp has its good and bad. The good is it’s very loud, it’s very powerful, it provides deep rich bass tones, it has lots of controls to shape your sound, it has a foot switch, and overall it seems rugged enough. I’m in a band, I’ve been playing bass for many years, I play mostly classic rock and blues. It’s fairly compact considering it weighs 70 pounds and I really like the tilt back design. The bad is it doesn’t have wheels, it doesn’t have an external speaker out, it doesn’t have a built-in tuner, it doesn’t have two side carrying handles, the CD input sounds terrible, it hums when you get too close to it plugged-in at almost any volume, and the EQ doesn't seem overly responsive on the higher end. I believe the humming can be minimized with better pickups. Also, I view the controls as fairly delicate and as “going to break” sometime down the road. All-in-all, and especially for the price, I’m very happy with this amp.

Good

I had this amp for a year and a half now and I am pleased with it. It's different knobs and equalizer switches gives a large variety of different sounds. Although the amp has good sound, the ultrabass sounds horrible. The knobs seem like they could come off easily and the amp started falling apart and having slight problems. I do recommend it for a temporary or practice amp especially for the cheap price.
