perfect amp perfect price
The Behringer ultrabass amp is by far the best amp in the $200-$300 section. most amps that can amount to the behringers features cost at least $500 were the behringer only cost $280. if your in a band and need an affordable amp that puts out enough sound for gigs or even if your just jamming alone this is your bass amp. trust.

nice one
Well i bought this amp. And the Behringer ULTRABASS BXL3000 300W is loud enough for gigs thats for sure. When i use this at band practice, the guitarists and the keyboards are drowned out if i use this up loud enough haha. The 2nd channel is cool, its like a distortion/overdrive thing, it really works. th ultrabass is wierd but awesome, my dad says he thinks its a octave divider but its cool. the compresser is a good thing to have too. i love the eq knobs. this is a very good amp for the price. My dad is a little jeleas bc this is almost as loud as his full stack he uses from ampeg. So if you want massive volume for you this is a good choice!!

Excellent Bass Amp
Really surprised by the sheer amount of sound I get from this amp. At 60 lbs. it's portable enough to carry. It easily buries the two guitarists in my band. The overdrive (distortion) channel really works, and sounds awesome. The "ultrabass" function is sort of strange - it's actually an octave divider; or at least that's what it sounds like. Big speaker and big sound in a small package. I'm very pleased.

Great value! Great sound!
Amazing sound for the price. This amp blows combos costing five times as much out of the water. I love the second channel (overdrive/distortion) and the EQ settings. Highly recommend this to any bassist who's tired of lugging a couple hundred pounds of gear around. This amp ROCKS!

what an amp
this is an awsome amp, the one that i had before had a horrible sound, and just not big enough. this is a big improvement, and the ultrabass works good, it shakes my walls, and best of all, makes my mom tell me to turn it down. but for the price ot's a good amp, and proud to own it.

This thing kicks.
I just got this amp today and as soon as I plugged my bass in, it exploded.
The quality is amazing and the pure volume is intense. The lowest settings still shake my walls and I can't wait to see what kind of power it can haul.
It's a great price, awesome power and has a quite the few settings to play around with.
If you're looking at a new amp get this one now.

An Awesome Amp!!!
This bass amp is hella awesome!!! It was definitely an upgrade from my Fender Rumble 15-watt that I first got in a starter set. I can easily keep up with my guitarist and drummer with this amp. I barely have to turn it up half way at practice to be heard, and personally, I think bass should definitely be heard. Everything this amp has to offer is pretty good for its price, and it's definitely worth it. So if you're looking for a quality bass amp that's really loud, this amp's perfect!!! The only problem that I have with this amp, is that at its solid 60-65 lbs., this amp is pretty heavy for a little petite girl like me to carry around. But that's what roadies are for!!! lol

Behringer Boom Boom Bass Amp
Wow! This 300 watt amp is booming! I was looking for something to use that had more punch than my practice amp while playing with friends. This was on sale for the same price as the 65 watt amp I was interested in.
Wow! I took it home and tried it out. I could only turn it up to level 3 volume because it rummbled my whole house! It sounds great!
I'm still working on using the 2nd channel, ultrabass, and compressor to create additional sounds that I want. The manual doesn't provide clear instructions on "how" to get the sound you want.
Wow! I love this amp!

Not as good as advertised
This amp has some nice features for a $300 amp, but when the rest of your band is putting out even a third of that much, the BXL3000 just won't cut it. The tone really isn't that good, and it actually only puts out 250 watts. Turn it up even 3/4 of the way and you have a chance of blowing it out.
Still, if you need the volume and you're short on funds, this amp gives you quite a bang for your buck.
