Great Sound-poor speakers

I had the unfortunate privledge of purchasing this contraption after being told by friends not to buy anything from Behringer as the quality was questionable. This package fit my budget, so I bought it. It lasted 15 minutes. Yes, 15 minutes at 1/4 volume. I would recommend you don't buy anything from Behringer. If you are on a budget like me, wait and save for the better quality equipment.

Do not be mislead

I want to make it very clear that this bass combo amp is terrible. When I picked this up from my local GC, I was told "I'll warn you. These series amps are ROUGH." Rough is not the word I would use to describe the terrible, digitally-emulated tonality I got out of this amp. Do yourself a favor and avoid Behringer bass products. They do other things very well, but not in this department. The recent recalls on these products speak the truth. I'm unsure where the praises for this amp come from, but they are certainly not accurate.

MEAT AND TATERS!

I had been out of live gigging for a while and needed a rig to play clubs with. I started looking at the traditional name bass amp brands, and the prices were way too high. I found the Behringer Ultrabass BX4210A 450W 2x10, and a Behringer BX115A 1X15 speaker cab. and it kicked my butt! The Ultrabass effect is a plus with me, because I have been playing four strings for about 27 years and I am not going to change now. I can use a foot switch and get a five or six string sound when I need it. Yes I can say I have used better rigs, but for a club gigging situation you can't go wrong with this rig.

5 Minutes of Play Time

I purchased the BX4210A Combo a few weeks ago. It sounded great in the store when I was playing on it. Great sound, great features. When I brought it home, I started playing on it and noticed something was wrong. The aluminum cone blew out for one, and also the cooling fan in the back literally shattered into about 50 pieces. This thing is not built well at all. I DO NOT recommend this amp.
