How can you beat it for the money-I use it as a single and with the band-handles my keyboard and B-4 with ease. The direct outs into concert PA's are clean and the stereo separation is perfect. I use a second amp linked on band gigs for the stereo effect--really fills up the stage with sound. Knobs could be a little more solid but compared to the rest of the package--who cares
I've been playing casual gigs with this amp for a year now. It is the least problematic amp I've ever used, say, in the last 20 years. The controls enable you to set up the right sound to the room or setting your playing. I think this is the most important point for the kind of gigs I play. I also like using drum machines and effects with my keyboard. People really do take notice and say a lot of nice things about the
well rounded combo like sound. The amp's PA is also really cool. There are no feedback problems.
The amp also looks great and helps create a really good impression to the folks who are paying the tab for the gig. It's also fairly easy to load and unload with the handles on each side. Lots of musicians I meet ask lots of questions about the amp. It's a 'goodin!'
I just purchased this amp and gave it a test drive! Holy loudness! I clearly heard my keyboard patches for the first time in a long time as I've always used a wedge at every gig with very little reference. Then I played some NIN bass patches through it cranked and was also impressed that the speaker belted those out with ease too! I also have a Vox Tone Lab LE that I'll be patching through the K3000, but it just fryed on me so have to use my AD50 until it comes back from warranty repair. I am anxious to hear the tones through it as it seems crystal clean with the most all the keyboard patches. (Roland XP30, XP10, MS200B, and Motif 7)Only the rhodes (Yamaha Motif) gets a little muddy on the low end which was resolved by lowering the low end EQ on the amp and that was all it took! Very impressive sounding amplifier with stereo XLR outputs! Perfect for the price all day long!
