Ok, this is not going to be a high end system, but you're not paying high end bucks, either! Great little system for a small band, or as a monitor system for a larger band, or just for overall sound reinforcement needs. Speakers have a decent amount of power, built in EQ, and a parallel XLR line out which is great if you need to use them in conjunction with something else! I use the 2 speakers as my main monitoring system for my stereo guitar rig and have the sound engineer send me a dedicated monitor mix so I can get whatever I need of the rest of the band and get my sound in stereo....nice environment! As a portable PA, it's great! I use it for that application a couple of times a year for an organization that needs one, and for my own little acoustic gigs when I do them. The board is great, too. I use a smaller version of the same board as my main board in my home studio....and have for about the last six years! No problems with this one for anything you need to do, plus it has decent effects if you fiddle with getting them mixed in properly. Hard to beat this package. And the stands are a great plus!! Go for it....
