A huge studio problem solver.

The Behringer ULTRAMATCH PRO SRC2496 is the successor to the renowned SRC2000, and enables you to transfer digital audio signals between devices with different sample rates, formats, or interfaces; disable SCMS for 1:1 digital copies; and remove dropouts or jitter from digital media. Simultaneously operable outputs offer splitter functionality. The 24-bit/96kHz-compatible SRC2496 now offers high-quality 24-bit/96kHz A/D/A conversion. It's perfectly suitable for studio work with format conversion between AES/EBU and S/PDIF (coaxial or optical). High-quality signal output with 16-, 20- or 24-bit resolution. Universal sample rate synchronization is done via word clock or digital input. XLR, RCA, and optical outputs are simultaneously operational with separately selectable inputs, turning this unit into a digital patchbay.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • Why spend more?

As reviewed by Chris S. on 5/25/2009

It seems like I'm one of the only people who know about this sweet little piece of hardware. For the price and amount of features that this AD/DA converter has, it should cost much, much more. If you are looking for a way to add external rack effects to your rig for recording this is the way to go. Just run your analog lines into your rack equipment, run the output of that into this, and then use the fiber to run everything back in to your workstation to record the final mix. Forget those more "expensive" companies products, Behringer products are well made and get the job done just as well, and for a much cheaper price! Five stars Behringer!!!

  • Great product

As reviewed by Andrew MacGregor on 12/30/2011

I have owned one of these for about 6 months or so. I use it in the Post Production studio as a D/A to take digital out of the workstation to a small mixer (just for gain adjustments) to a DBX DriveRack PX powered speaker optimizer (which is another fantastic product), which feeds a pair of Yamaha HS80Ms and a pair of subwoofers. I have to say it's always worked perfectly. I no longer have that annoying but faint "pc noise" that one sometimes hears when using the analog out of a sound card. One thing to note, the analog outputs are rather high level. I added a pair of -30dB attenuators on the analog outputs and the mixer is much happier. So am I! I just bought another one for the same studio, to use as A/D, so I can better transcribe older analog media to digital.
