  • Great price and options

As reviewed by Bob on 8/18/2011

I bought this as an alternative to on stage in-ear monitoring for my band at church. Is it Aviom? No. But I'll tell you what, this gave us exactly what we needed. We fed a basic monitor mix into it and everybody was able to up their own instrument in their individual channel. If you want a "poor man's" alternative to in-ear, this is your answer. I'd recommend this to anyone! I've had no problems with the channels having different volumes like some reviews stated and the thing has been running without incident for 2 years. And I get PLENTY of volume. There are no downsides that I have found.

  • Fine by me

As reviewed by Dave on 5/7/2010

I've had this headphone amp for about a year, and it's in my mobile rack, which I move once a week. It's been fine for all I've needed. The only thing that I have a little reserve on is this: when I plug an instrument into the "aux" jack of a given channel so as to enable that musician to crank up his own instrument in the mix, I've found some buzz -- like a ground loop. Now it's important to realized that I'm saying this: I'm taking a guitar, plugging it into the sound board, and then ... with either a Y-cord, or the channel insert jack from the sound board, I'm running a 2nd line to the aux jack of a specific channel of this Behringer unit -- that is, it goes to the channel which the guitar player is listening to via headphones ... when I do this, I do find some buzz that I haven't been able to get out. However, that buzz has *not* affected the other channels. Besides from the above, this unit is versatile enough that I can use it to drive my monitor speakers -- and that's good. I also can use it to send a stereo line-level mix to my video camera, so I get a stero mix with sound-board-quality on my videos ... not bad, eh? I think this is WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

  • Very nice for the price !!!

As reviewed by Theguy on 12/22/2008

This item was purchased for the purpuse of having more than one set of headphones connected to the same audio source . This is great for you and your band members to listen to your home recordings . The features are ok and the sound is accurate . The frequency response is very wide 10hz - 150khz . The output can get as loud as you need . Its built like a tank but like all electronics the insides are fragile . If you and your budys need to mix your songs at the same time i recomend this product to you . Remember when you purchase your headphones they should all be the same model . My rating is based souly off of the performence for the price . 5 STARS
