Fast and easy to set up, a basic system can be installed and configured in a matter of minutes—and the system can be expanded to adapt to changing needs.
Tech-Free Zone The P16-M’s simple user interface makes it easy for even non-techies to dial-in the perfect monitor mix. For example, let’s say the electric guitar is too loud in the lead vocalist’s mix; they simply press the appropriate channel button (the one labeled E. GTR) and turn the Volume control to lower the guitar level in their mix. They can also adjust Pan (left to right mix), EQ (Bass, Mid with sweepable Freq control and Treble), and much more. All of these adjustments can be made without affecting anyone else’s personal mix.
Easy Installation A basic installation consists of one P16-I Input Module, which connects to the main mixing console, and up to six P16-M Personal Mixers, creating a system big enough to equip a typical recording studio, a small to medium-sized band, or a worship team. You’ll also need a few standard audio and CAT5 cables. The optional P16- MB mounting bracket allows the P16-M Digital Personal Mixer to be attached to any standard microphone, music or drum stand. The system can easily be expanded via the P16-D Digital ULTRANET Distributor, six of which can be combined to drive up to forty-eight P16-M Personal Mixers.

Picked up a couple of these (along with the P16-i) and VERY impressed. Sound quality, individual channel control, bass, mid and treble controls, LIMITER (great) and master volume make this unit unbeatable for the price. Factor in that the unit can be powered by the P16-I (but will not daisy-chain the power, but will daisy-chain the audio) via cat5, and it's a no-brainer.
Only issue I had is that the 2 units I had shipped/received from GC arrived with EUROPEAN wal-wart power adapters. I returned them to my local store and they re-ordered. SECOND set shipped ALSO had EUROPEAN wal-wart power adapters! Local GC provided working power supplies.
Just got 2 of these a couple of days ago through a distributor in Minneapolis, MN. They sound great! No complaints at all! I've used the "blue brand" before (starts with an A) and this stacks up very well comparatively! For the price tag... what do you have to lose? Great overall sound with plenty of options (EQ, Grouping, Muting, Panning, Limiter, Etc.) We got the X32 board a couple of weeks ago, so the P16-m pairs perfectly with it. We also got a couple of the P16-MB to go along with these so we can mount them to mic stands. Overall, I'd say the P16-m is built really nice. Very sturdy construction and the knobs seem very secure. Now we're just waiting on the S16 stage boxes to be released and our new setup will be complete.
