  • Record and Play Along with your favorites...

As reviewed by Terry K on 7/7/2010

My Tascam-1641 was at the studio and I needed to record my bass line at home. This link works perfectly with my Cubase or Logic software. Added bonus is being able to practice with my headphones on and not disturb the wife. I bought the Paul Reed Smith Guitarbud for practicing with iPod and it is awful. The Behringer is only $10 more/buy it.

  • Not all that

As reviewed by Eric on 6/11/2011

It has a nice free virtual amp interface but the recording software does not work or at least I can't figure it out and the audacity software recorder doesn't see the device so you can't use it to record the amp interface has a recorder that you can even save the files too but if you want to play along with it and want to change the sound or effect of the amp your original track changes as well so you can't play a mild tone rhythm and them want to play a distorted lead to it it changes the rhythm to distorted as well.

  • Great portable interface

As reviewed by NexxuSix on 1/19/2009

I got the UCG102 for my laptop and guitar, but as When I started using it, I realized that the UCG102 also has the potential of becoming a USB sound card with very little latency. The UCG102 works in Windows XP and also with Fedora Linux under Jack (Jack Audio Connection Kit). Included software and manual are very good as well. Overall construction is solid, and the built-in USB cable is more than ample for the length. The volume controls and switches feel nice, and are easy on the ears when wearing headphones. Overall, I am very pleased with this interface... its very small, self-powered, and the quality is very good.
