Behringer Strikes Again

I have owned a Behringer Eurorack UB2442FX-PRO Mixer for about two years now and have had no interest in getting a different board or even upgrading. I play in a band with 5 members. We use 3-4 vocal mics, 2 electric guitars, 2 acoustic guitars, 1 bass, 5-6 drum mics, and sometimes even a CD player. We use all samson and shure microphones and have great tone quality. We love this board. It is perfect for groups that travel and do not have alot of space to take huge boards and cases. We simply put this board into the top of an SKB Gig Rig and we're ready for the road. We love the diversity of having balanced and unbalanced (XLR and quarter inch) outputs for the mains. The Auxillary sends work great for our monitors and for lining out to effects processors, etc. The built in effects are ok, but not professional quality, we usually use a little bit of reverb, but we line out to the Virtualizer PRO. We have had no problems from this board and we use it on a regular basis. Our group plays once a week at church, we practice at least once a week, and we are on the road at least two weeks per month. This board has been great!! If you're looking to power this board, check out the Behringer EP 2500 and EP 1500 power amps as well.

Behringer Eurorack UB2442FX-PRO Mixer

When my friends and I finished building our studio we needed a new mixing console so we purchased the Behringer Eurorack UB2442FX-PRO Mixer. We were kinda of sceptical about getting this board because it seemed too cheap for all the features it supported.Since there was a money back guarantee we got it and that was when this mixer floored use with the quality and ease of use.So here it is, Phantom power, good clean preamps, solid professional 60 mm faders, good effects and ton of connectivity. I could go on and on, bottom line, I bought the smaller ub-1204 for home cause I liked its big sister so much!! Thanks Behringer you did it again:]

Increadable Mixer Very low price

This is the most bang for the buck mixer I have ever used. the sound is great, so many features, you can use it in the sudio, live, or both. the 4 sub mixes are great. the individual parametric eq's are very helpful. I love the fact that the first 8 channels have direct out, I send these direct to a recorder for live multitracking. the built in effects are not that great, but I don't use them anyway. it is also rack mountable.

Great Mixer, Buy A Separate FX Processor

This mixer does a great job as a mixer, it is very clean and quiet when the individual gains on each channel are set properly. The effects are cheesy even though they are supposed to resemble the ones found in their virtualizer unit. I run drums, bass, keys, guitar, vocals, and dj music through this board and it reproduces everything very well. Most stuff even sounds good with the eq set flat. I even run my bass directly to the board sometimes. The four aux sends work great for monitors and external signal processing. With proper care this mixer seems like it will last a long time.

Just right and durable

I bought this equipment when I first started my studio back in early 2000. It has stood the test of time and the vigorous tests of audio which I have put it through. It still operates like new and I don't have any complaints from it as well. If you are looking to a mixer which can stand up to the every day use in the studio and still operate to maxium effeciently, then is the one for you.
