A great mixer for video production on a budget!

I mix down several microphones to a minidisc recorder for my low-budget video projects. The preamps and EQ sound very good, the faders are smooth, and the chassis is built to last. The Behringer UBB1002 is an extremely flexible little mixer, with both pre- and post-fader sends perfect for live music recording, and plenty of inputs for the price. The battery life is great, and usually exceeds the 4-hour expectancy. Highly recommended!

Great bang for buck

Picked this unit up from GC yesterday after originally looking at some similar mixers and have been very happy. I use it in my home studio with an MBox system and it rules. No more cables running all over the place, it does its own phantom power, and it even comes with its own ears to put in a rack unit (something that the other mixers I'd considered did not come with, and something that isn't really mentioned on the website). Great Behringer sound, rock-solid formfactor, very competitive price, and it comes with the ears for rack-mounting. My only negative would be that the manual that comes with it is rather sparse. But, the thing is very intuitive, and most of us don't read the manual anyway...

great for the buck

The Behringer Eurorack UBB1002 10-Input Mixer is a great mixer for those who are just starting out and aren't looking to spend alot of money. It's also a great board for the artist who wants portability and doesn't really want to deal with cumbersome power supplies because it can be powered by 2 9V batteries and a third for Phantom power.

Great for drummers!

I bought this mixer like 3 months ago. I used it to amplify music from my laptop to practice and it has a powerfull output. Then, I plug in it some shure mics and it works perfect to me. I equalize very well my toms and my snare. Small, portable... just perfect.

Quite nice for a cheap board

I bought the UBB1002 primarilly to be used as a preamp for computer based recording. I run the main outs to the Behringer FCA202. In this respect, the board performs flawlessly. With its phantom power, this board can handle your condensers as needed. I have yet to test the battery operation, but just the fact that it IS an option was a high purchasing point for me.
