I bought this for multi uses.
It is perfect for practice. I plug in my i-pod, Mic and Tele and the sound is nice works great light and easy to transport. I can practice with it for hours.
Use it for a monitor or use it just as a single mic PA for practice.
This thing is Universal.

Price is very resonable
Did the research and read all the reviews on line as well as talking to people at the music stores and fellow musician's. I had the Mackie on hold and would have spent the money for it until I read all the reports about the less than desirerable construction of the stand connectors.
After that I just said what the hey, and put my money down on the B205D. First the sound is great, the connections are all metal not plastic like another brand, and the size and weight are unbelievable.
So far at the two band practices we've had I love the unit and I haven't had to yell "turn up my monitor". Looking forward to live gig's, but I suspect it'll do just fine. Glad I bought this unit and saved the extra bucks.

Pro:
- Many features and all kinds of aplications possible. Very Cool!
- Very loud and clear. Turn it up as loud as you want.
Cons: Sounds quality of speaker is not great. Took a long time to get used to. I use it mainly as vocal monitor and again the sound quality is lacking. I suspect this is because this speaker will do anything you want; bass, guitar, i-pod, vocal, keyboard. I'm thinking: when you create a "do-all" speaker speaker you lose clarity for a specific purpose; i.e, vocals.
