The SX2442FX EURODESK mixer is designed to meet the needs of studio and live mixing applications, with a comprehensive set of features that combine sonic excellence and a full complement of mixing and sound modification tools.
This 4-bus mixer features ultralow noise, high-headroom XENYX microphone preamps. 24 channels (20 mono, 2 stereo). Mono input channels feature three-band, semi-parametric mid-range EQ with Neo-classic "British" response. Stereo input channels provide precise four-band equalization. Each input has four aux sends with two sends switchable between pre/post fader, for a flexible mix of monitor and effects applications.
External signal processing racks can be largely eliminated, thanks to the two integrated effects processors and stereo 9-band graphic EQ. One-hundred 24-bit / 96kHz studio-quality effects presets can be called-up and assigned to one or both internal effects buses. Main or Monitor output EQ is set and fine-tuned with the intuitive FBQ Feedback Detection display.

So it's a Behringer, it's crap right? WRONG!!!! I've owned a lot of PA's in my life, but I must say that the least expensive one is the best! This board rocks!!! Behringer has a undeserved bad rap. I have been out of the music world for awhile and needed to "restock" for the least amount of money possible. Everything I have bought is Behringer and it ALL kicks butt! Don't get caught in one of those "brand name" hang-ups.
I can't give you a long term review as I've only had the board for 2 weeks, but out of the box it works perfectly! I am using it for recording right now but will be using it for gigs soon and I have had it plugged into my Behringer active 15" cabs and my voice rattles the windows at half volume!
Ok, the built in effects are about what you would expect...good but not great. One example is that you can't adjust the delay frequency, but for recording I use my software's effects anyway.
All-in-all I would say that if you are limited on funds..Buy Behringer. As a matter of fact because they are so maligned I've come up with a new tag line for Behringer's ad department.
Here it is... "Behringer...we don't suck!"
Seriously..if you are looking at this mixer and just aren't quite sure because of the rumor mill... ignore it and buy this board...It don't suck! :)
One more thing I must point out. This isn't the only thing Behringer product I own. So far I've bought the mixer..2 powered cabs, an ultrabass bx4500h amp head and a 4x10 cab, all of which kick ass!

I purchased this mixer in February of 2010 and loved the features for the price. Seven months later and I was back in a Guitar Center asking for a replacement after built-in effects not only died but were causing all manners of feed back and noise; even when they were seemingly shut off. I was happy to see the replacement unit work, but it's been eight months and the built-in effects are on the fritz again. The built in effects were never the greatest, but they're interfering with the normal use of the mixer and that's just unacceptable.
I didn't give it one star only because it was a great mixer for the months before it just stopped working.
This mixer was purchased for a church.
I have a large Drum kit and i needed a large board to handle my kit, I was using two mixer to get enough channel to cover my mix, so my family herd me talk about the Behringer Eurodask SX2442FX... and on father day they went to buy me that board! soon as i got it i set it up, put my entire kit on that board and was blown away by the sound and quality of that board had to offer, I have a large basement where i keep my kit and PA system set up for practicing and recording, the second day i turn on the power amps just to hear how it would sound through the PA, my jaw drop when i herd my Drum kit through the PA system it sounded like i was playing in a arena, the 24-bit dual fx built in the unit sounds great. it have a ton of features and Behringer web site helps you how to work the board better, Have this board now for three weeks and i am very satisfy! and for the price you can't beat it!
