Raw power with sophisticated tonal controls.

This Behringer half stack includes The BX4500H Ultrabass amplifier head and the Ultrabass BA410 speaker cabinet.

The Behringer BX4500H Ultrabass Bass Head is amazingly versatile. The powerful 450W bass amplifier head features patented Dynamizer technology, a switchable Ultrabass sub-harmonics processor, and Behringer's revolutionary Shape filter for mid-band frequency control. The head also provides a dedicated 5-band EQ with Bright and Deep functions, a musical opto-limiter, vintage style VU meter, and XLR direct output.

You can select the Bright and Ultrabass functions with the supplied footswitch and insert an external EFX signal through the TRS effects send and return. 3 speaker outputs are available including TRS and Neutrik Speakon connections. Heat is controlled by a temperature controlled cooling system.

The Behringer Ultrabass BA410 1000W 4x10 Bass Cabinet has light, ultra-stiff aluminum cone speakers for fast response, incredible attack, and solid punch. The switchable 1" horn tweeter gives you as much high-end sizzle as you want. The tweeter also has a unique remote control feature that allows it to be controlled via footswitch or MIDI. Ample power handling (1,000W) gives you loads of headroom for a wide and rich response.

The heavy-duty speaker enclosure is constructed with reinforced internal speaker chambers, recessed carrying handles, integrated wheels for easy transportation, shockproof metal grille, reinforced corners, and rugged carpet covering. The cab is front-ported for deep bass response. I/O features 1/4" and Speakon connectors. 4 ohms impedance.

Deafening

This amp definitely packs a punch. I used to use it at my practice space and its tone can be heard clearly through the two guitars in my group. The Bright and deep Features were decent, but at high volume the, amp seemed to overload on bass, sometimes making playing chords, or very fast solos sound muddy even if the bass is turned down. This amp would be excellent in a gig, especially if you play funk, reggae, R&B, etc. The footswitch is a great add on and its fun to switch between sounds. Its also virtually indestructable.
