Nice features

I just put the Behringer BTR 2000 in my guitar rack and love it. Not only a tuner AND a good metrenome, but a source of light for any equipment underneath the unit. The LED lights work perfect for seeing switches on my Dbx EQ on dark stages. The tuning modes work great for different instruments, even banjos and mandolins, which I don't use but it's nice to know I can. 2 channels is great for tuning 2 different instruments back and forth without having to unplug. It also has a mic for acoustic instruments. The mute button very handy for a professional look onstage without making everybody listen to you tune. However, one flaw I've found using a Drop C tuning is that it's hard to get the low C to pickup, so I have to manually tune that string. But, for the price, a very good piece of equipment.

GREAT TUNER

This tuner is great. It's not one of those super sensitive ones that is just impossible to tune with, it is very accurate, and makes tuning a breeze. Without having to disconnect cables and replug them into your amp, this tuner is like a midway point, where you can plug your guitar output into it, and then use another cable to connect the output from the tuner into your amp. It is a great tuner for the price, and if you are trying to find a rack tuner, stop looking. Heres the one that you wanna use, cause it not only sounds and works great...it has a stylish look that makes a bass player look really slick. =)

If you don't buy this you are foolish

For the price I was like "Yeah not bad. I just need a cheap one." When it arrived, I was blown out of the water. All the options and features surpassed my expectancy. The LED lighting kit looks cool too. I would buy another one to have another one just for back up. This product has helped me make up my mind to get rid of all my pedals.

One little problem for bassists . . .

Overall I'm pleased with the Behringer BTR2000. The features are excellent for the price. I particularly like the lights projecting on the equipment below the tuner-- this feature alone would cost more than the tuner itself. A little problem for bassists- I cannot get the tuner to respond to the low "B" string. I have to tune it harmonically at the octave fret. Because my basses hold their tune very well (graphite necks) this is a minor inconvenience for me, but be aware.

Great Price Quality Calibration

I purchased this rack tuner as a test. I wasn't sure if the tuning calibration would be true to other tuners but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does the tune match up to Boss and Korg but the audio frequency response from the tuner to the preamp is clean and full. Also the rack light is a great idea. I would recommend this tuner to anyone who is unable to spend a lot of money but wants great gear.
