Overall I'm pleased with the Behringer BTR2000. The features are excellent for the price. I particularly like the lights projecting on the equipment below the tuner-- this feature alone would cost more than the tuner itself.
A little problem for bassists- I cannot get the tuner to respond to the low "B" string. I have to tune it harmonically at the octave fret. Because my basses hold their tune very well (graphite necks) this is a minor inconvenience for me, but be aware.
I purchased this rack tuner as a test. I wasn't sure if the tuning calibration would be true to other tuners but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does the tune match up to Boss and Korg but the audio frequency response from the tuner to the preamp is clean and full. Also the rack light is a great idea. I would recommend this tuner to anyone who is unable to spend a lot of money but wants great gear.
Ive read reviews about this being bad for bassist because it cant pick up low frequencies. It works just fine for me and at half the price of similar products on the market.
