It is a handy device. I use this tool for keeping a rough idea of what beats are not only with turntables, but with my P.A. system and laptop audio. Though not 100% accurate, it is close enough to help keep your mixes in sync. If it doesnt determine the correct BPM, you can tap it in with the "Beat Assist". It is a rather small device. About the size of 2 VHS tapes. The flashy LED's are nice and bright too!

don't waste your time

Bpm is wrong half the time. Thats when it happens to show it. Manual not very helpful.
