These set of five ultra-affordable Beato drum bags have a durable outer nylon shell that protects your drums from the elements, and a softer interior that cradles without scratching. Heavy-gauge thread is used to provide durability at stress points, and the extra heavy-duty zippers are protected with zipper covers. Just received these bags today. Will be bringing them to my first gig tonite. I have a cheaper kit I use for smaller acoustic gigs and I felt $40 for these would be fine. These are nothing more that nylon coverings. Absolutely no padding whatsoever in them and I fell will have a problem with the zippers sooner than later. Overall you get what you pay for, and unless you are traveling throughout the country and having roadies and techs handle your gear, these will work, especially for local shows.
