This product works great, buy the cutting tool,only way to really have this come out good. I have installed 3 of these.Place head on a small block of wood,install outer ring, as per instructions,flip head over, install inner ring, and carefully use 2 screwdrivers to work the lock ring into place till it snaps in, all the way around. looks, and works great.
I purchased this port and couldn't believe how poorly it is made. When I finally got everything installed I waited a few hours for the adhesive to take. Halfway through my gig that night the port was hanging out of the hole and the drumhead was ripped. Do yourself a favor and buy and spend the $$ on a ported head.
