Overview

The B.C. Rich Warbeast features a maple bolt-on neck; solid, string-through, beveled basswood body; Son of Beast style headstock; a pristine rosewood fretboard with no inlay; and 2 BDSM covered humbuckers.

What do you get when a ruthless Warlock picks a vile Beast to bear its spawn? A Warbeast of course! The twisted minds at B.C. Rich combined the ultra-in-your-face upper and lower horns from the Beast with the more comfortable rear of a Warlock - there's a joke in there somewhere... The Warbeast however, is not joking! Ripping the heads off of lesser axes - the Warbeast is on the prowl.

An affordable and aggressive electric guitar starts here! This BC Rich Warbeast delivers heaps of profoundly malevolent features that all entry-level axe slingers in training will hold in high regard.

Bolt-on Construction
The Warbeast uses a classic Bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
The Warbeast guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Good Guitar on a Budget

By Evan Krueger

from Federal Way, WA

I bought this guitar about 9 months ago now and have nearly no complaints. The tones you can get out of it are great for a guitar at this price range with only he standard BC Rich humbuckers. However, I do recommend a set of EMG 81/85's to get the most out of it. As far as playability is concerned, it is very good and great for players relatively new to the metal world. As far as intunation goes, it stays in tune pretty well except for the G string, as it is for most guitars. My one major complaint is the build quality. The input jack for your cord is always coming loose and needing to be screwed back in. But, you get what you pay for. All in all, a good buy considering the overall quality and the low price tag. I definitely recommend it to somebody looking for a good guitar that is on a budget.

Cool

By Smellma Pits

This guitar is awesome. At first i couldn't decide between this and the Jackson king v but the sound of this guitar is great.I reccomend it to the people that like playing metal. The king v would slide off your leg if you tried to play it sitting down so this was my final choice!

Pretty Good!

By Austin

This guitar totaly rocks and is great for everything i use it for, the only complaint that i hjave is that both the volume and the tone knob came lose after a 2 months, it was easy enough to fix. but its still a great guitar.

Good guitar

By Justin

from Vista, Claifornia

Nice guitar. Played it twice at guitar center and if you put heavy body pickups on it, it would be a perfect guitar. It has a mean look to it and a floyd rose wouldnt be half bad either. I noticed no fret buzzing however the neck isnt low enough for me because I like to play fast. If it had a floyd rose, locking nut, faster neck, and was more comfortable to play, I would buy it in a second.

By Matt Johnson

from Wilmington ohio

This guitar is a pretty good buy. Obviously you ultimately get what u pay for however i have had this guitar for 3 months now. I have had no fret buzzing thus far. For the most part it stays well in tune. Pickups deliever good quality tone. Comfortable and light weight. I did however have to ajust the action when i got it because it was slightly low. Overall a good buy

pretty decent

By Tyler

from Brooklyn Park, MN

I got this guitar a couple years ago and its a great begging guitar for metal players and that sort of stuff. but some problems of this guitar is that it just goes out of tune quite a bit so if that doesn't annoy you then there will be no problem. also the body shape sometimes digs into your chest if you play sitting down.

AHHHHMAZING!!!

By Skatellica

from New Jersey

i got this guitar about 5-6 months back for my birthday. i had no experience what so ever. this guitar was great for such case. it looked GREAT and all my friends loved it. its inexpensive yet better than ANY other guitar you can get at this price. i just threw EMG 81/85s in it, and the sound blew me away. as i said, ive been playing for about half a year, and im already rockin out at gigs. if i need a guitar that wont burn a hole in your pocket, but sounds like on of those expensive ones, get this.

Execellent

By Aerospace274

from Mankato, MN

Excellent guitar for the price. Overall, has okay tone with the stock pickups, It stays in tune fairly well, going out every now and then, but it's not that hard to retune. As far as sitting with it and playing, it's very comfortable, but I normally stand when I play. It feels great to play, the neck is well made and has low, comfortable action with no buzzing going on. It can maintain sound even with very high bends. And, obviously, it's made for metal. Just by looks, you can see this guitar is for metal players. ( Not exactly a jazz styled guitar, if you know what I mean. :) )It's fun to play and it looks great. Overall, I give this guitar 5 stars.
