Overview

This dynamic guitar includes the B.C. Rich trademark widow headstock. Also featured is a bolt on maple neck, two humbucker pickups, Chrome hardware, master volume, master tone and three way toggle.

Bolt-on Construction
The VG1 Virgin guitar uses a classic Bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
The Virgin electric guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Looks wicked, but minor problems

By Matt

from St. Louis

I bought this guitar a few months ago and I love it. It looks amazing. However, there's one minor problem. On the 1st couple frets the G, B, and E strings don't sound out. I'm thinking it's because the strings are hitting on the next fret up that you don't intend on hitting, which ends up muting the string's vibration. Anyways, it's a minor problem because I barely ever use those frets for those strings anyways. All in all, I'd still recommend you buy it.

Beautiful Sound!!

By Geoff

from Orlando, Florida

I've been playing guitar for over 20 years now, and when I saw it in store it looked pretty nice so I decided to try it out. I was amazed with the sound it produced, and even more amazed with the price. There are some cheap guitars that look nice, out there but most of them have things like chipped paint, tuning and string problems, and sound problems, but not this guitar. The pickups are great and haven't let me down yet, and neither have its tuning knobs. I only have to tune it once a month, but i check it everyday and it's always perfect. Overall this guitar won't let you down if you're a beginner or a pro.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...AND NOTHING MORE.....

By TheNextOzzyOsbourne12484

from Tampa, FL

I saw this guitar and I whipped out my credit card and purchased it. its great guitar if your a just starting out, but for advanced players, I WOULD NOT recommend it! I own a variety of amps, over 20 of them. this guitar sounded horrible on all of them except on the VOX mini cube. it sounded decent on that one. If you do get it, the body is the only part that should be kept! I scrapped all the parts and tricked it out my self. Iwould recommend the following: 1)D'Addario EXL-110 Nickel light Strings-$35.99 2)Gibson Classic '57 Pickups-$129.99 3)Fender Schaller locking tuners-$69.99 4)VOX DA Series Combo Amp-$199.00 5)The patience to work on perfecting this thing, a lot of patience!!!!!!!!!!!!!
