Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird One Electric Guitar:

I own over two dozen "high end" guitars in my collection. I needed something that I could leave out and not worry about the grandkids playing with it. Turns out it's actually a great sounding and great playing guitar. I am extremely satisfied with everything about it!

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird One Electric Guitar:

Bought this guitar for my brother after he said he wanted to get into guitar. He used it for maybe a month, and hasn't used it for the 2 years he has had it... I have used it on occasions when my guitars aren't usable since I do a lot of repair work and custom stuff. Anyway, I plugged it into my trusty amp and boom... Not only did it worked, it didn't sound bad. Quite honestly I think it sounds better on a clean channel, and I would replace the electronics with EMG's, but he wants to keep it stock. Nice guitar though, and built like a rock. I prefer other guitars though... He wanted this one because it looked cool. The overdrive tone leaves a bit to be desired.

i am a beginner and just started playing guitars. I was currently playing on an older guitar and wanted something cool and good for beginners. I bought this guitar with high hopes and this guitar met all my needs as a beginner and as a person who wants to be big someday. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good sounding and cool looking guitar!

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird One Electric Guitar:

I went into guitar center with the intention to find a solid but inexpensive guitar to modify. I purchased this and was really quite impressed with what I got for the money. This is classified as a beginner guitar and if that is you, this is a wonderful option. This mockingbird seems to have been built better than a lot of entry level instruments. I will be switching out the pickups but the stock bc rich brand ones really are pretty acceptable. You won't find much better in this price range. The neck is comfortable and is quite easy to play. The only couple negatives would have to be- sharp fret ends (on mine anyway) and it is quite imbalanced. Still well worth the cost.
After a little set up, this thing is ready to rock! This is a great begginer-moderate level guitar and is a perfect option for modification.

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird One Electric Guitar:

Good starter guitar I got for my son. Love the Mockingbird design, decent pickups and action. Don't love the forward guitar strap peg placement, but not a big deal. For a B.C. Rich Mockingbird...how can you beat this price? Even if you immediately changed the tuners and pickups it would still be a steal.

A great, no frills, versatile guitar

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird One Electric Guitar:

BC Rich has made a MAJOR improvemet in their electronics (pots) and pickups. This is a great, albeit very plain looking guitar. I personally go by the feel and sound rather than looks, yeah I'm calling you out Gibson! This is my 3rd BC guitar and I love them all. I own a couple of the higher end Kerry King models and this one is right up there except for the plain black paint job. Everyone at my local Guitar Center was grabbing any of the lowest hung Gibson Les Paul's they could get their hands on. This guitar is right on par with them- playability and sound wise- minus the fancy finish. Very versatile tone -Stevie Ray Vaughn to Slayer and everything in between. Don't let the odd shape fool you, it sits perfectly across your lap with the long horn resting on your left thigh, just wear a strap. They only had 2 BC Rich guitars in the whole store and both were mockingbirds. It's a shame that BC Rich seems to have such a small following because they really are great guitars.
