The B.C. Rich Virgo Vintage Celtic Electric Guitar features a maple, bolt-on neck; solid, beveled nato mahogany body; SOB Beast style headstock; a rosewood fretboard with celtic knot inlays and 24 jumbo frets; aged pewter hardware; distinctive Celtic control knobs; a wrap around fixed bridge; and 2 BDSM humbuckers.

Bolt-on Construction
The Virgo Vintage Celtic Electric Guitar uses a classic Bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
The Virgo Vintage Celtic Electric Guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Sexy sound from a gorgeous body

By Fallen

from Bronx, NY

I've had this for a while now, and It is my first experience with BC Rich Guitars. First things first, the way it looks its amazing. Pictures cant do it justice, because you can't see the "pewter" hardware as clearly. Along with the knotted inlays, this guitar is definitely one of the prettiest I own. The sound is strong yet evenly toned at the same time. I don't have any problems sitting down while playing it, BUT the only draw back to ANY BC Rich guitar is that you need to buy a gig bag to fit the oversized head stock and body size. I've heard people complain about sharp frets, but its not that bad. I give it a 9/10

Great medium priced guitar

By Max Martin

from seattle WA

i've had this guitar for a coupe months now and i love it. the body looks great on a first glance but in persson looking up close it a just amazing. the only draw back to the beaty is keeping it in it's case when you're not playing it or dust gets on there in big amounts and doesnt come of. and if ur using for show you need to try not to touch the body to much and wipe of the finger prints. but besides that it's great from the tone to the control it can stay in tune for a couple of days non stop playing. the pickups are great especially for metal. if you want a medium priced bc rich go for this.

Great for intermediate guitarists

By michael caruso

from easton,ct

i bought this guitar a year ago and it plays great. the pickups have a good sound if you are playing any genre and the frets are nice and wide another good feature of this guitar is the shape which not only looks great but makes it easier to play on the higher frets. i play in many different tunings such as drop b and c standard and this guitar handles all of these tunings very nicely.

good guitar for the money

By jensen

from new york

I had this guitar for about a year and it always sounded good, but the pickups aren't the greatest.u never have to worry about tunning it because it stays in tune for a really long time and not to mention it looks really epic. The downside to this guitar is that the wood its made out of isnt very strong and I droped the guitar once from 2 feet in the air and the the bottom corners got chiped off a little and also the nut for the jack sometimes gets lose and causes the jack to move around,i had to do a little sotering because one of my friends jabbed the cord in hard and broke a wire inside. this guitar is ok but there are definitly better sounding and stronger guitars for around the same price.
