Overview

The B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar sounds great and looks even better. This affordable Warlock features an agathis body, dual humbuckers, all chrome hardware, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and the popular Warlock body design that takes center stage as soon as you strap it on.

Bolt-on Construction

Classic bolt-on construction with 4 screws to the body offers added flexibility in the instrument's adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups

B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. Which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
Most of B.C. Rich body styles employ a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look. Some of the B.C. Rich top bevels are extreme and wide while others are subtle and narrow. Occasionally the shape of the instrument is accented by painting the bevels a contrasting color.

This guitar is good for any one hows a beginner and wants a guitar that looks cool, plays well, and sound decent. Its good for practicing but I wouldnt take on stage because its not so reliable. What i mean is that the input jack gets loose very quickly along with the volume and tone nobs. Its will stay in tune for about a song and a half. but if your looking for something to mess around with, learn on, or possibily a backup for your backup guitar this is the one you should get.

This is a great guitar for beginners.

By Tu Madre es loco en mi cama.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

This guitar is perfect for beginners in the fact that it is pure sound. Although there are no flashy colors or buttons, this guitar makes up for it in tone. The only downfall are the tuning pegs, it goes out of tune frequently after playing, but hey only cowboys stay in tune anyways. Although it has a pure metal look, it still plays fine clean and even better with distortion. Overall this is an awesome guitar for anyone that is just starting out or needs a good guitar to just "jam" with.

Great, even used

By Omg_Waffles

from Flomaton, AL

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

I recently bought my bronze Warlock, which oddly enough has the IT Warlock headstock, for 100 dollars from a friend. It's in great condition with a couple of knicks that were easy to cover up with a sharpie. I've dropped it twice and hasn't chipped or affected the hardware. It doesn't stay in tune for TOO long, but that's what tuners are for. It gives a nice crisp sound perfect for metal, and I play alot of punk and it sounds perfect as well. I'd recommend this for any beginner or intermediate player who can't afford the IT warlock.

Great guitar for the price

By Patrick

from Marysville, Wa

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

I bought this as my first guitar and I have owned it for about 8 years and I have never had one single problem with it. The guitar always sounds great no matter what type of music you want to play. More experienced guitar players have played on my guitar and they love it just as much as I do.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

Got one today, love it.i think alot of the bad reviews are from kids getting their first guitar and not really understanding how a guitar works..you cant say its bad because the strings buzz or wont stay in tune..a guitar has to be set up for these things to work...ive been playen for over 10 years and trust me..this guitar is solid.from what ive read this 150.00 has most of the same features as the bcs three times as much

Good for beginers, but not for pro's

By BCRich

from Belfast, Norhern Ireland, UK

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

I admit the features are good enough for the beginners to learn metal, death metal, black metal e.t.c. The neck is very thin. There is one little thing though, the wires snap very easily, so be gentle with it. Now, this is definently not for the pro's. Why you ask?, well you see, There is no tremolo, no 2 volume and 2 tone. I had this guitar customized for a original Floyd Rose tremolo, I got it rewired, added a 3rd hum bucker pickup, changed the pickups, changed the tuners, changed my fretboard, and even got a new paint job. Worth the customization?, definently. This is why it's not for the pro's, you have to tamper with it. You might as well buy yourself the kerry king. All in all however, this guitar SUCKS.

I love my Warlock

By 1967 Camaro

from Amherst,OH

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

The guitar is the best guitar you will ever buy. The bridge is a little cheap. Once you get used to it like I am you will love it like I do. Other than that this guitar is kick butt. It is awesome for teens I would not recomend this guitar for beginners because the shape and style of the guitar. I have had it for about 1 year and it is still up and working like a regular guitar should.

A Beast of Metal

By MetalForever666

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

Alright, Ive been playing for a year and a couple of months, and this is my first Electric guitar. But, man! This is a good guitar! Period! I love the way it sounds going through my Marshall Amp. Everything on this guitar is great except for the input jack, which keeps coming loose(its seems to happen to everyone), but over all, awesome piece of equipment!

Horrible

By DEAN PLAYER

from BELLEVUE, WA

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

Although this is one awsome looking guitar it is one of the worst out there. I have not ever played a BC Rich guitar that was decent its all a joke. You can find cool looking guitars that have good quality from companies such as Dean. So Moms And Dads that are trying to find a gift for a future musician this is not a good guitar. Some beginner guitars I would suggest is the Peavey Raptor, a basic but decent beginner electric, dean makes decent begginer guitars as well.

Warlock.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar about 3 months ago. Its good for beginers ONLY. The finish is nice and the guitar holds together well. It doesnt stay intune for to long, but thats what you have to deal with for this price. The pickups... not good. Try to switch them out with some EMGs or duncans.

The Doomsday machine.

By Metalmadness666

from NY

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar for my birthday a little over a month ago, and I must say, its one of the finest guitars I've ever played. The stock pick-ups cradle distortion very well, the wrap-around style bridge provides excellent tone, and the thing has come out of tune no more that, like, three times. And if looks could kill this monster would be a one-man genocide. The neck is nice and smooth, plus it has 24 frets which makes for face-melting solos. You really dont need much more than that. Once I strung it with a set of DR- tens it was clear that this was gonna be my main guitar. I've used it for all of my band recordings, which come out nice and chunky. Most people will tell you not to buy this guitar, I'm here to tell you otherwise. Please, do yourself a favor, go pick up a Warlock. You won't be disapointed.

great beginner

By chris

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

ive had this guitar for almost 3 years now it still plays fine its a good beginner guitar only real issues i had with it are keeping it in tuning and when i first started playing it hurt my wrists and i another thing you need to watch out for is the volume and tone knobs will start to move loosly in the guitar when you turn them and the way i fixed this was i hot glued the knobs in place inside the guitar and this also solved any future problems of the solder joints breaking

ok for beginners

By justin

from Tupelo Mississippi

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

I played one of these a few times in a store, and i wasnt impressed. It felt and sounded ok for the price, but also felt very cheap. That being said I dont like the wrap around bridge. In fact, i think it is the worst invention in the history of guitars. It makes the strings high, and felt uncomfortable on the neck. The pick ups were ok with a lot of distortion, but when clean you can tell they arent very good. This guitar is good for beginners who are just starting out, but honestly most guitars at this price level arent very good. I recomend saving up and buying something a little better(without the wrap around bridge).

Do Not Buy This Guitar. Ever.

By Anonymous Musician

from Texas

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

This is the single worst guitar I have ever played. It hurts to play, it has awful pickups. I can get a better sound out of a squier. Don't get me wrong I love metal. It's not that this guitar is too heavy. It just lacks the quality of other guitars. The price is affordable, but like I said a Squier isn't great, but its way better than all the B.C. Riches in the world.

cheap

By mack

from memphis

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

if you want one of these, then you only want them for the looks. if you only want a guitar with looks, then you have played guitar for about 2 weeks. this guitar is not worth the money. the neck is made out of cheap wood, so it will dent easier. the pickups, tuners, and the bridge are cheap. if you want to customize this, then it could probably be a good guitar. otherwise, it just consumes money.

Great Guitar

By Fzero

from East Brunswick, NJ

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock Electric Guitar:

This is y 2nd guitar and it totally blows my old Baja strat away. It may not be the best, but you can make it one. The pickups are decent, so is the bridge. The only problem i had was the jack coming out, so I just glued it shut. I replaced the bridge which didn't stay in tune too often. It is a much better guitar after you customize it, but it is still a GREAT guitar for beginners like myself who love metal.
