B.C Rich Never Disappoints

By Patrick

from Helena, Montana

This Guitar is a great buy for the price, I've owned and played other brands of guitars and this one is my favorite to play so far. The Neck has a nice feel and fits ween in your hand, great for sliding up and down the fretboard at speed. The Floyd is tough i love that thing, i can lift the entire guitar up by the tremolo and bash it up and down and the locking nuts keep it in tune. The pickups are great as well with a nice rich sound when used together. The neck pickup has a deepish lazy sound while the bridge pickup has a more tony clear sound. I'm not sure if it mentions it in the product description but the guitar also has, on the tone control, a coil split. So you can get that nice hollow Clapton sound or the sharp biting Stevie Ray Vaughan/Jimmi Hendrix Sound which you usually couldn't get with Humbuckers. My only complaint is that the arm rest is a bit far back for my liking which means if I'm playing something like Greenday im always slamming my forearm on the edge of the body. Also when i got it i had to adjust the truss rod, but I'm quite sure that was because i bought it online and had it shipped so it got bounced around a bit. Overall it's a great guitar for any level player and i would recommend you buy it. You'll love it i promise!

First guitar with Floyd

By Jay

from Kandahar, Afghanistan

I've had it for about a week now. Pretty quick neck, very comfortable. I would have preferred it to have locking tuners but that's my only real complaint about it. Finish is MUCH nicer than the pic here (Bought Black Cherry). The tone is nice but the jury is still out on the pickups. Also if you arent familiar with setting up a floyd rose trem I highly recommend looking some stuff over before you get this guitar. If you order from GC it does NOT come setup, you've got to do that yourself. It is a bit of a pain, but worth it in the long run.

Great guitar very beautiful.

By Nick

from oklahoma city

This thing sounds and plays amazing. The neck is so smooth and thin super easy to play heavey metal riffs with. The floyd rose stays in tune real well. The stock are great. I replaced them with a Dimarzio D activator X but wasnt really pleased with the sound so i put the stock ones back in. the stock pickups sound better i think. This is my first floyd rose and at first i was going to return it because i didnt want to tune it cuz it took so long. But eventually i got the hang of it and i can change out the strings in 5 mins flat. Definitly worth 5 mins for staying in tune so well. Good guitar, good price, amazing quality, beatiful(i have the red burst version with by the way comes with the inset diamonds in the neck as does the onyx burst one) buy one!

Best guitar in this price range!

By Cesar

from Miami, Florida

I was thinking on getting an ESP LTD HM-50 but I'm glad I got this BC Rich. The mahogany body makes it sound Warm and Full! The neck is really thin, excellent for playing fast and precise. Mine is the Black Burst one and although the pattern seems very dark it's still very beautiful. The two Rockfield Mafia pickups have high output and screams like hell. I've heard no humming or buzzing coming from the pickups (only when you pull the tone button and make them become two single coils, depending on your setup). The construction is very solid and the floyd rose bridge can take dive bombs without losing the tuning. As I said before, BEST electric guitar even for a price range higher than the ASM Standard.
