The Mind Bender is a dual-mode analog Vibrato/Chorus pedal that uses the BBD (Bucket Brigade Delay) circuit and was patterned after 2 rare vintage guitar effects pedals: the Boss VB-2 Vibrato™ (Pitch Vibrato) and Way Huge Electronics' Blue Hippo™ (Analog Chorus). The Mind Bender produces a wide range of lush vibrato/chorus and rotating speaker effects.
IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE END USER TO PROVIDE THE BILL OF SALE OR OTHER MEANS OF PROOF OF PURCHASE TO VALIDATE THE WARRANTY IF WARRANTY SERVICE IS REQUIRED.
BBE Sound, Inc. products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase from BBE Sound, Inc. or an authorized dealer.
During this period, BBE Sound, Inc. will repair units free of charge providing that they are shipped prepaid to:

BBE Sound, Inc. will pay return UPS shipping charges within USA. All charges related to non-US shipping, including customs clearance, will be billed. The warranty will be honored for the longer of either 90 days from the date of any service or the remainder of the original 5 year factory warranty.
If a BBE Sound, Inc. product is purchased through an authorized BBE distributor outside the US, contact the distributor to arrange warranty repair.
This warranty will be considered null and void by BBE Sound, Inc. if any of the following is found:
1. The equipment has been physically damaged.
2. The equipment shows signs of abuse
3. The equipment has been electrically damaged by improper connection or attempted repair by the end user or third party.
4. The equipment has been modified without authorization.
5. The bill of sale indicates that the purchase date of the equipment is not within the warranty period.
A copy of the original sales receipt must be provided for service under this warranty.
All non-warranty repairs are warranted for a period of 90 days from the date of service.
BBE Sound, Inc. is NOT LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Should the unit fail to operate for any reason, our sole obligation is to repair the unit as described above.

The BBE Mind Bender produces a very pleasing, warm, animated chorus at subtler settings. With either control up past halfway, it starts to sound warbly, great for alternative rock/grunge. The option to use it as a vibrato effect is useful in that if I place it in an effects loop with an effect blend control, I get chorusing when the dry signal and the vibratoed signal are combined, with the option of controling how much of the vibratoed signal is mixed with the dry signal. The Mind Bender does not have a blend or mix knob of its own to adjust the level of the chorus effect. Note however, that I've found that the Mind Bender starts to distort when using humbuckers. Even medium output PAF humbuckers. Sounds great with single coils. Keep the level of guitar signal going into the Mind Bender down and it sounds nice and clean.
