The Boosta Grande delivers up to 20dB of clean gain without changing the original signal's sound. Use it to drive your preamp tubes to the max, or as a line buffer/driver if you're experiencing degradation from other effects in the chain.
The Boosta Grande is built to last, and features hardwire bypass, single op-amp design, LED operation indicator, non-slip rubber bottom, and an easy-access 9V battery compartment. Includes AC power supply!

BBE Sound, Inc. products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase from BBE Sound, Inc. or an authorized dealer.
During this period, BBE Sound, Inc. will repair units free of charge providing that they are shipped prepaid to:

BBE Sound, Inc. will pay return UPS shipping charges within USA. All charges related to non-US shipping, including customs clearance, will be billed. The warranty will be honored for the longer of either 90 days from the date of any service or the remainder of the original 5 year factory warranty.
If a BBE Sound, Inc. product is purchased through an authorized BBE distributor outside the US, contact the distributor to arrange warranty repair.
This warranty will be considered null and void by BBE Sound, Inc. if any of the following is found:
1. The equipment has been physically damaged.
2. The equipment shows signs of abuse
3. The equipment has been electrically damaged by improper connection or attempted repair by the end user or third party.
4. The equipment has been modified without authorization.
5. The bill of sale indicates that the purchase date of the equipment is not within the warranty period.
A copy of the original sales receipt must be provided for service under this warranty.
All non-warranty repairs are warranted for a period of 90 days from the date of service.
BBE Sound, Inc. is NOT LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Should the unit fail to operate for any reason, our sole obligation is to repair the unit as described above.

If you're looking for a boost that doesn't change your amp sound or add distortion when you don't want it, this is what you want. I've used mine steadily for a year or two, for maybe 100 gigs and it does what it says it does. Test it with your amp, because sometimes with some amps, it doesn't seem to work, but with my Peavey Classic and now my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, it kicks ass !!!
I bought the BBE Boosta Grande Clean Boost Effect Pedal today and it is absolutely amazing. I use it for my bass, connecting my Fender P-Bass to my Fender Rumble 100 combo amp, and it adds so much to my sound. It does exactly what it says it does, it gives you an extra 20dB or clean gain. It's a great little pedal for an unbeatable price.
This one's alright. I had a choice between this one and Visual Sound's Truetone, but opted for this because i was short on cash and was really feeling the need for a clean boost in a hurry. Overall i'm impressed, but i'm starting to have a few second thoughts. For one, the signal is not entirely clean. When pushed, it can cause your tone to break up, even when in the FX loop with the amp turned down (to ensure it wasn't preamp or power tube distortion). but then again, who needs to crank it all the way up to 10? besides this, it adds a little bit of mids to your signal, which can be good or bad depending on your amp setup. For me, i've got a british styled-amp, which has an overabundance of mids in the signal, so it's not so transparent as it would if it had a flat frequency level. and last, and kinda least, the switch is a pain to engage. but really heavy duty indeed. I feel comfortable touring with this one ;) so, in the end i may switch it out for the truetone, but for now i can live with it.
