BBE Sound, Inc. products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase from BBE Sound, Inc. or an authorized dealer.

BBE Sound, Inc. will pay return UPS shipping charges within USA. All charges related to non-US shipping, including customs clearance, will be billed. The warranty will be honored for the longer of either 90 days from the date of any service or the remainder of the original 5 year factory warranty.
If a BBE Sound, Inc. product is purchased through an authorized BBE distributor outside the US, contact the distributor to arrange warranty repair.
This warranty will be considered null and void by BBE Sound, Inc. if any of the following is found:
1. The equipment has been physically damaged.
2. The equipment shows signs of abuse
3. The equipment has been electrically damaged by improper connection or attempted repair by the end user or third party.
4. The equipment has been modified without authorization.
5. The bill of sale indicates that the purchase date of the equipment is not within the warranty period.
A copy of the original sales receipt must be provided for service under this warranty.
All non-warranty repairs are warranted for a period of 90 days from the date of service.
BBE Sound, Inc. is NOT LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Should the unit fail to operate for any reason, our sole obligation is to repair the unit as described above.

I have been a DJ for 18 years and have always used power amps with passive speakers, most recently 2 QSC 2450s with 4 JBLs dual-15"s and a CV Earthquake 18" Sub. The speakers were always top of the line, so I never really noticed a difference with BBEs that I have installed in the past. I booked a gig for a 50th anniversary to be held in a restaurant banquet room (about 20'x30') and needed a MUCH smaller system, so I invested in a pair of Harbinger APS12s and a Behringer 1202FX. They were small enough for the room, but didn't produce very good sound on their own. The 3-Band EQ on the 1202FX was adequate, at best, and the 5-band on the APS12s made it sound muddy on the lows or tinny on the highs. I added the BBE 382i to the system and, holy crap... It was like some had replaced these little speakers with some EONs or Thumps. The sound was cleaner, louder and what I would expect from a $$ speaker. I couldn't believe it until I pressed the "Process" button and turned it off again. The difference was night and about 3 days. The BBE382i only has 4 workable buttons/controls on the front panel for incredibly user-friendly operation. "Power on/off" switch (obviously to turn the thing, well, on and off), "Lo Countour" dial (to adjust the bass and low-end processing), "Process" dial (to adjust the mids and high-end processing), and the "Process" button, to instantly check "before and after" and compare sound quality with or without the BBE. There are indpendent clip lights for both Channel A and B to monitor the incoming signal. The back panel is just as simple: 2 - 1/4" inputs and 2 - 1/4" outputs. That's it! It has solid construction, but is lightweight. It features a standard 19" rack-mountable design with a brushed aluminum and red graphic face plate. Simple and clean! I have a BBE482 in my main rack, but after hearing this thing in my new portable system, you can bet I will have BBE in every rack I own.
The best piece of gear you can get for short money. The sound is night and day different! Easy to use and hook up.
I just added this to my bass rig. OMG, get one! for the money this thing is a great.
