Product Information

Designed to do some serious sonic damage!

The B.C. Rich WMD Warbeast features maple neck-through construction, a beveled nato mahogany body, and an original Floyd Rose tremolo. With its Rockfield Fat Ass pickup in the bridge, Mafia pickup in the neck position, and aggressive red pinstripes, there is no mistaking the sonic damage you can inflict with this WMD.

Neck-Through Construction
Neck Through construction is used on the WMD Warbeast because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars. This construction starts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple. That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows deeper cutaways, providing comfort no bolt-on or set-neck could offer.

Rockfield Pickups - Mafia & Fat Ass
Bridge Pickups - Fat Ass
Aggressive in its own right, the Rockfield FAT ASS bridge pickup was designed for a specific group players in mind: those with crazy, super acrobatic playing styles. The ones at the gig that make everything look so effortless and easy. As you watch in amazement you say, "Man I need to practice" or, "That's it, man, I quit!" This pickup's custom designed bobbins house larger pole pieces that help transfer string vibration from pulls, bends and leads so the user gets less tonal drop off, better articulation and note definition. The Rockfield FAT ASS has a well balanced overall tone that is mean and bold with major sustain, huge bottom end and cutting mids and highs that jump out at you. Each note is full and rings true from this pickup while you take advantage of a look that is just plain mean and in your face.

Neck Pickups
The neck version of the Mafia pickup is just as full sounding as the bridge position, without taking away from what has already been accomplished. Very minor modifications to the overall design and design concept of this pickup gives it punchy, bold tone with the same aggressive characteristics as the bridge version. A tad brighter with a little less output really takes this pickup into the smooth and warm realm of the tonal spectrum. All while maintaining that balanced bite and in your face aggressive tone that the mafia is known for!

Flat Top The WMD Warbeast is constructed with a flat top. The flat top styling gives a bold and pristine look to the edge of the instrument's shape. The binding on a flat top finishes off the edge cleanly and gives a sleek and clean look to the instrument.

NEW REVIEW - Killer Guitar

Just bought mine used today, couldn't find a single scratch on it, the plastic was still on the covers. Why would someone sell this guitar? One of the most fun guitars to play out there. Surprisingly light, been playing for hours without any problem with it. Usually it takes me a bit to get usd to a guitar but this Warbeast felt right from the start. Buy one if you want a metal machine. And thanks to the Guitar Center Glen Burnie guys, they made this the easiest purchase i've made in a while.

Awesome guitar

My friend picked this up as his first guitar and I was the first to play it. This thing is amazing. It has a beautiful body with an awesome design. The floyd rose is incredible, though I have not yet restringed the guitar. The guitar sounds amazing with the pickups it comes with. Personally, I like the fact that it does not have any inlays because I find the standard dot inlays to be a bit boring. The one thing I didn't like about the guitar compared to my warlock is the thickness of the neck. Of course that would just take some getting used to. If your planning to get a really cool looking guitar and have the money, then go for it.

Kick Ass, Harcore, Perfect Creation

Just like the review before me I am new to neck thru guitars and to make it simple all electric guitars together. When I said I wanted a brand new electric guitar all of my friends pointed me to the WMD BC Rich. I can't even begin to explain how deadly I feel when holding this thing. Neck Thru construction no fretmakers on the front of the neck, floyd rose system and two sets of pick ups what more can you ask for. This guitar is insane and I recommend this for anyone who wants to have respect and ladies all over them.

Patience Pays Off

I'm new to B.C. Rich and Neck-Thru guitars. My friend said that neck-thru were heavenly and that I had to get a neck-thru guitar. I looked for them and stumbled upon B.C. Rich. I had heard about B.C. and their bronze series guitars and thought they were pushovers. But I visited their site anyway. I clicked and scrolled through the guitars and ended up on the WMD Warbeast. I was floored. It looked so beautiful, yet so deadly. I imeadiatly printed out a picture and kept it with me always. I just found out that they are on this website, and my fingers are shaking as I type. After waiting so long, I finally have a place to get one from. And at on $700 it's a steal. It's an import but hey, Hard Maple body, Ebony fretboard, Neck-Thru, Floyd Rose, 24 frets, black with hints of red and an awesome looking package(body), what's not to love? I gettin' one ASAP!
