The Trace Warbeast T has the sound, playability, and looks you'd expect from a instrument that bears that name.

The B.C. Rich Trace Warbeast T is an electric guitar with a tremolo that has way more going for it than a cool name and awesome gothic looks. The Warbeast T includes an ebony fretboard and black chrome hardware. A through-the-body string design adds extra sustain. The Warbeast guitar's controls include a master volume, master tone, and 3-way toggle pickup selector switch. Like the trail of tracer bullets in the night, the trail of silver on the fretboard and body bevels of the Warbeast create a stunning show when you are on the stage. The Floyd Rose Special Series tremolo lets you pierce the clouds and plumb the depths.

Bolt-on Construction
A number of B.C. Rich guitars use a classic bolt-on construction. On these instruments a neck (typically maple) is bolted to the body with 4 screws. This construction offers some added flexibility in the guitar's adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched, which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
Most of B.C. Rich guitar body styles employ a beveled edge. In many ways bevels on a guitar's top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the guitar more of a 3-dimensional look. On the Trace Warbeast the guitar's shape is accented by the silver painted bevels highlighting the unique body shape with a contrasting color.

Guys, I've seen all of the reviews about this guitar saying how it breaks strings. I might be too late on this review for some of you, but hopefully the rest of the population can use this. This guitar has beautiful clean tones. Great for metal, or rock. I use it for heavy metal, ac/dc, ccr, beatles, alternative, punk everything. The thing about the strings is you need to take your string, and before you string it, file of the saddle for the string on the bridge. After that it plays better, and has the broke in vintage feel. This guitar is very capable of every genre of music, it just has the look of a hard player. Don't lose faith if it breaks strings right off the bat, just get thicker strings and file the saddles.

  • Best Guitar Yet!

As reviewed by Zach on 1/6/2011

My opinion is that bc rich is just loading up on wicked body designs and the fact that this was always my favorite guitar from bc rich, im glad to have it, dont have a downside except when sitting down a pointy end of the guitar gets annoying, but i dont usually sit down while playing, and even if that, you can get a strap and hang the guitar below your knees while playing, that also helps you get used to standing up while playing. but if you have the money, get it! With a coffin case with red velvet in it too!
