Product Information

Takes you flying into the danger zone while packing awesome pickups.

Shredders, the highly requested Ironbird guitar is back! Armed with B.C. Rich's high output BDSM tone-seeking pickups Ironbird 1 is a formidable weapons platform.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. Which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
In many ways bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

don't listen to this guy below

this guitar is great it has fantastic metal looking body and the neck doesn't give me problems when i try flying across the frets there's nothing wrong with the pickups, they're not the greatest pickups ever but they have fine quality to it. you can plug it into any amp and will still sound great. it can also give a heavy sound when i'm doing some riffs. this guitar is great, it comes at cheap price, great when comes to metal, and looks great inside your house

has potential

i've been playing for close to 14 years and i've always dreampt of owning an Ironbird, unfortunately i played a piece of . I bought it anyways just cuz it was the closest i could get. i ended up getting rid of the weak pickups and replacing them with a Seymour Duncan TB-5 Custom at the bridge and a Lace Alumitone at the neck.that worked pretty well for a while until the piece of bridge started falling apart... i simply replaced it as well as the tuners. now it plays like a charm the neck was pretty fast to begin with. if you really want it you gotta renovate!!!

Not the best guitar

This guitar has the cool look but not the sound to back it up. When working correctly this guitar is great and sounds great for metal songs but..i have had it for 8 months now and its sound has just plain gone out. it will play right then for no reason i will have my line 6 amp set to insane and it will play crunch. this is the second time i have had it do this with the same guitar. eventually it comes back but never back to full quality. it doesnt deserve B.C. Rich name.

dont get this

i went to a guitar center and tried this guitar out. Its way to big and bulky, so its annoying when your trying to sit down and play it, the sound is terrible, and the bridge doesent pick up any sound. Don't purchase this, if u wanna buy a good guitar, buy a B.C. Warbeast guitar.
