NEW REVIEW - Its ok

Ive played alot of BC.Rich basses and this one has good tone but the platinum bass is better than this one. It is still a good buy but if you can find a platinum it would be a better bass to buy.

really cool bass

The B.C. Rich Warlock Bronze was my first bass. I bought one for my birthday, and I absolutely love it! I use it for heavy metal songs. I don't have an amp for it yet, so I'm using my friend's hartke. This bass has a great sound and a killer look for the stage. It is very heavy and I sometimes get tired from holding it, but that is about the only thing i dont care for. I am currently in the process of making a case for it because it is too big for any case on the market. My dad told me that i should buy another bass that maybe isn't as big, but I think you have to love what you play, and I love this Bass. I would recommend this to anybody interested in playing Bass.

Great Bass for Metal

My first bass was a BC Rich Warlock. I've had it since 1988. It's been through everything and still sounds as good as it did almost 20 years ago. While it does not have the dynamic range of a Fender P-bass it sounds great for metal bands and hard rock. If you are into metal and hard rock this is a great inexpensive bass to start with. It looks mean, has great action, and a real punch.

Awesome Bass!

I bought the bass partially because of how it looked. If your started out and you want an AWESOME bass, get the warlock. This thing sounds great! The wonderful pick ups and great tone. Perfect for playing metal and rock. If you have a small budget, I really recommand the Warlock. Its the most bang for your buck. !,,! (*.*) !,,!

Warlock Equals Magic

My son decided he wanted a guitar for his birthday. (13th) This was going to be his first instrument, and honestly, I didn't know that much about guitars to help him decide. We went to the Guitar Center, and a young man named Richard helped us. When I asked him for guidance in selecting a first guitar, his advice was to get an instrument that the new player liked the look and feel of. This would encourage them to actually practice with it. Solid Advice! My son selected this unit, primarily for the design I think. It does sound good though. It has two pick-ups, and seems to stay in tune. It is constructed well, and should last a long time. His desire to learn to play has rekindled a long forgotten desire in myself to learn to play. I will be going back to the Guitar Center to find myself a nice instrument. I highly recomend this unit, and more importantly, I highly recommend the Guitar Center!

Awesome

Wow, What can i say. I just got this bass about 6 months ago and it has been great. All my friends have been telling me about how Warlocks have bad sound and that they only look cool, well i can agree that they are really insanly awesome looking, but it also sounds really good. I would say this is a really good starting metal bass. In a while im gonna try to save up for a Traben Pheonix though.

too big

This bass has a great sound and i love it, but it's too big. It's extremely heavy and really long. I bought this because of its low cost, but I can't carry it anywhere because nobody makes a case or gigbag that it fits in. To get a case for it you have to special order it through the company and it costs just as much as the bass itself. Think about it befor you buy it.

An amazing bass perfect for metal

The Bronze Warlock is a great bass guitar. It has a great sound for playing metal music. The only thing is like alot of other B.C. Richs it can break easily. But overall its an amazing bass and has a great deep sound.

...pure awesome...

I love this thing. It has solid sound, and goes great playing anything...especially metal. The only problem is that it is massive! If you don't have a comfy strap it'll dig into your shoulder and the fact that it only fits in the b.c. rich coffin case is kinda annoying. But even with the downsides of the massiveness, it has massive sound and can pierce even the most insane shredding.

Great starting metal bass

I got this bass about a year ago and it sounds amazing. I play through an Ampeg BA115 and it rocks. the tone is awsome and i can not find a bass yet the i like better. the thing is also built like a tank becasue i have droped it and it still plays and sounds like new. the only complant that i have is that i wish the neck was thiner like a jazz bass then thick like a p bass but other then that this bass rocks!!!!!!
