Again I was dead set on getting a Mesa Boogie, but after playing this cab (with the AT-100 head) I was pretty impressed. The tone is warm and tight with nice response. The clean channel was very warm and resonate, and the overdrive was chunky and "chainsaw" like. It's not as tonel as a Mesa, but then again compair the ticket price! The baltic birch construction is nice and stout, yet not too heavy to lug around. My only complaint is that the covering could have been a bit more ridgid. Although the material is soft and nice to look at, it's also VERY easy to rip.

This Cab is very mediocre. It gets super muddy at high volumes, and it just isnt that amazing sounding to begin with. I know it was this Cab, because I play through a Peavey 5150 Head. Some free advice: Buy a Mesa Boogie 4X12 if you play Metal such as Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, or In Flames; or if you play Progressive such as Job for a Cowboy, The Facess, or All Shall Perish. High Gain=Mesa. End.

B-52 AT-100 + AT-412

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

i got this used and this thing is so fantastic! it can create any style of distortion you want, no problems. 3 channels is all you need, and its a triple rectifier! it is often called the poor mans mesa, and for good reason. and in my opinion, the bragging rights of this amp is the clean channel. its amazing. i have a schecter with active emgs and no coil tap, and the cleans are perfect. crystal clear, have a bright switch and its own treble/mid/bass and volume. (all channels have their own volume, along with master volume). best part is, i get amazing, warm, clear distortions and the tubes are getting a bit old! i highly recommend this amp! also, i never use flanger, delay, echo, wah, ect. so not having all of the extra knobs and buttons is much less annoying. this thing is my life now and i cant wait till i have the footswitch

This cab is the loudest i have ever owed it over powers my crate fullstack at 1/4 volume with my lg-100a head and boss me-50 guitar processor I for the first time turned it up a little and pictures over 20ft away fell off the walls. This can take anything you put it up too its a beast! a little heavy but well worth it i got the warranty so no worries on blowing a speaker which is nice for the price

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

Just played on this cab last night for the first time.It blew me away.I plugged my KH120 signature series head into it and only had to use almost 2 thirds of the volume I usually need.It handles the crunch I use with my heavy distortion (a lot of palm muting).Head to cab configurations will always alter between players but for that thick shake your bones palm mute sound, this is my cab

For The Bucks, Best Cab On Market!

By Tom

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

Being a HUGE fan of Blink-182, for quite some time I been leaning towards buying a Mesa, or Marshall JCM 1990 series. However, the price caught my eye one day at GC and i had to try it out. Instantly i was blown away by the sound. Crystal clear cleans, and thunderous yet noticeable distortion. I decided to check the wattage it maintained and was blown away by that as well. All in all, i now run this bad boy through my Marshall MG100HDFX Head. Great combination, along with any B-52 would perhaps be better. Great Buy, looking to make it a full stack soon. It is rather lighter than i expected but bigger than most cabs. If i had to relate it to any other cab, i would mistake it easily for a Mesa.

It does what it is supposed to do.

By Brett Robbins

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

I got this Cab at Guitar Center not that long aga, about a month, and ever sence-I have had the huge wall of tone that most guitarist crave. This cab does contour to EQ's really well, but it does have just a slight sharpness-when you lay through the cab,STand in front of it then stand about 10 to 15 feet away from it(stage distance)-there is a totally different edge to the tone-so my suggestion is just rolling back the treble a bit and raising the mids a hair. I like a lot of bass, with decent mids a little treble(Brown Sound Guy) And this cab does it for me-I run a Peavey Bandit 112 Transtube (SHeffield Loaded) into it, and talk about awesome-crank the distortion and go-thats all I need -the cab freakin rocks, and It carries very well-GET THE CAB!

Incredible!!!

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

This cab is one of the best and loudest cabs i've ever played. It is four times louder than some cabs it's size. It sounds incredible for both my clean tones, dirty tones, or just anywhere in the middle. I use it in a full stack with my marshall head. It sound just as good as almost any Marshall cabs. It could be used at most any venue because it is so loud. I think you should definetly buy one as soon as possible!

No better cab for the bucks

By BookofRockPart1

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

I bought one of these for my thrash metal playing kid, now I want one. He plays a 150w Line 6 head and it sound killer for his type of music. But to my surprise I played it with my multi-preamp rack rig and to my surprise it was very responsive to ALL my tones as well. I'm currently using 2 Crate Blue VOODOO 4x12's but well be adding at least one of these ASAP.

Great Cabinet

Comments about B-52 AT-412 480W 4x12 Mono/Stereo Guitar Cabinet:

I plug my 7 String Prestige to a JSX head then to a B52 AT-412A. This cab is remarkably responsive, tight, and clear especially given the price. Quality you would expect from cabs in at twice the price. Nice Job B52. The AT-412A is NOT ported?at least mine isn?t.
