Nail any tone you want and amplify it with classic Celestion sound.

The ST-6012 has a 100% all-tube signal path that combines Sovtek 6L6 power tubes with 12AX7 preamp tubes for solid tube tone and classic breakup. Capable of monstrous gain, extreme distortion, and sparkling clean tones through 2 channels. All those tones are accurately reproduced by a pair of 12" Celestion Vintage 30s with 70W handling. The Clean and Overdrive channels have their own sets of volume and EQ controls (3-band bass, mid, and treble), with 2 gain knobs and an interactive Contour control (Gain 2) on the Overdrive channel.

You can further shape your tone by selecting 3 rectifier settings. The solid-state setting delivers the tightest low-end definition and fastest attack. Tube A gives you a vintage attack and feel with the warmest sound. Tube AB1 is in between the first two: punchy, warm, sound with more definition than Tube A. Roadworthy construction with 13-ply Baltic birch.

Excellent Sound For Low $$

As with most things B-52, you just simply can't believe it until you hear it! I own some B-52 PA products that sound excellent, so I thought I would give this a whirl, I tried the AT100 head through AT-412 cabs and then tried this combo - after a hands on in store demo @ G/C of both units side by side - I bought this unit, and a AT-412 Cab which it powers VERY well!! I like the combo for beating back and forth to practice and then I throw it on top the cab for gigs for a 3/4 stack. The only negative thing I can find is the covering is VERY soft and thus susceptible to tears and nicks, other than that if your looking for A poor man's Mesa Triple...This is IT!! Sound quality is beyond explanation, Crystal clear highs, bone crushing lows...All I can say is locate a G/C and try it out..I think you'll be impressed!!

Really Effing Loud!!!

Its got great potential. All you need to do is take the time to shape your tone. I can get any tone I want to out of this Cab, without hardly any difficulty. But like anything in music, it just takes time!!! Buy this if you want a good sized cab (volume wise) that takes up a very small amount of space. For recording, this is perfect!!!
