couple of problems

Headphone jack only works if speakers are not connected. Hard to get good volume out of mics. Mini jack on mine would only play one speaker. No way to hook up monitor.

B52 review dude

Great tone spearers and quality construction. Good effects. Not bad for small to medium size gigs. Could have a bit more power. My daughter also uses it for sing along hooked up to her Ipod. Kicks but in a large size room.

Disappointed

I had high hopes for this small PA. Though, had multiple problems with this unit and had to take return/replace it 3 times to GC. First time, there was no volume coming out of the amp, plus the front of one of the speakers was dented. The entire unit was replaced. But, when I got home, I noticed that one of the tweeters was dead. Went back to GC and swapped out the speaker. Now, the right output channel has shorted and the unit sits in repair at the shop, under warranty. I do appreciate that this unit comes with a carrying case...however, there is only one handle for pulling with the rollers. But, when you want to lift the heavy case, there is no where to grip it. One last gripe... That that's what you get with the low end units. Thing is, I only needed a small portable unit. I believe that it shouldn't matter if it's small or big unit.... they should still be made with the same high quality. Buyers beware....

Need tweeters Tweeters

I have had this system for over 2 years and have replace tweeters twice.(replaced under warranty) Playing @ only 6 on the volume max. I've had to add a powered sub also, which you can with this system unlike others in the price range.They need better tweeters, other than that it's a great system for the money

What can I say, this thing is nothing less than SPECTACULAR!!!! Great sound quality. Great mixer. (easy to use) Great everything! I was only able to find one problem...it's not the lightest pa ever. (Little heavy for me, then again I'm 12.)But other than that, this is almost perfect.

great PA

Been using this PA for small shows (coffee houses, parties, benefits) for nearly 2 years now and it's never let us down. Sennheiser and Shure mics. Sound is clear and adjustable, though I've never tried to play auxilliary sound through it so I don't know if it's great for Karoeke or not. sorry. but it's plenty loud, and we've never had a problem with sound even when playing outdoor shows with a 5-piece band

Very good sound quality

I have this and the B-52 Matrix 1000 V2. This one obviously cannot bump the bass as well as the Matrix 1000, but I honestly think the sound clarity on the Matrix 200 is better. It's perfect for relatively small events. Every B-52 system has been GREAT!

Punchy system

Great system. Broke it out of the box for a gig last friday. Worked great. It has a punchy sound that usually costs more. I played outside on a big deck and had plenty of sound to spare. The bag did not fall apart on me the first time like it has with others. Internal effects were solid though I do use an external equilizer for finger picking. Much better than the Kustom 150 I was using.

Great PA

The B-52 Matrix 200 200W. Its a great PA my band owns it and has for about half a year. We have used it in all our gigs except for 1 because it was a larger show. It is good for small to medium size gigs but for a gig of 3000 it doesnt work. The sound is very nice and with the microphone we have it is AMAZING im sorry i cant remeber it but i would recommend this PA it is very good!
