The B-52 LX-218 is a pounding 550W 18" 2-way speaker designed for mobile live sound and music replay applications and is the perfect companion for the LX-18 or LX-18A. Ideal for bands, medium-sized venue installations, corporate A/V, or mobile DJs, the LX-218 loudspeaker combines high-output and sound clarity with crisp highs and deep, well-defined bass.

This B-52 speaker produces an exceptional full-range response, from thundering lows to crisp highs. The B-52 18-180 cast-aluminum framed loudspeaker with a 3.5" polyamide voice coil has tremendous output that allows you to both hear and feel the music. The customized built-in passive crossover perfectly mates the loudspeaker and high-frequency driver without losing essential midrange reproduction.

    I bought two of these and they sounded huge, clear, with great highs. I bought two more. Now I use them with a yamaha emx5000 powered mixer, it kicks.

    i ordered 2 of these monsters, and i got them in yesterday, Aug 31. i was skeptical about having an 18" woofer, and not having any mids, but i was blown away when i hooked them up!! they sounded great!! plenty of low end, and crisp highs!! Guitar center marked these down at a great price, im just glad i got a pair before they are all gone. First pair of B-52 speakers i have ever bought, but i might be a customer for life now!! great product, would def recommend them to anyone!!

    I purchased these speakers 7 years ago. Not only do they deliver awesome sound at all levels but push out the bass when needed. I have been using them for Karaoke and DJ work. I did attach wheels to the bottoms to help moving them, They are extremely heavy but durable... I'm going to add 2 more with a new amp. Highly recommended
