The highly sophisticated compression circuitry in the B-52 ACT-1515X loudspeaker allows for impressively high SPLs while minimizing the risk of damage to either the amplifier or loudspeakers. The ACT amplifier employs sophisticated circuitry including four stages of equalization, a built-in compressor, limiter and short circuit / over-current protection. The B-52 speaker has four-stage equalization network built into the amplifier is the perfect complement to the system's dual 15" loudspeaker components.

  • Listen to the others,then listen to B-52!

    I always had my doubts on whether a powered system could compete with a system with separate amps and passive speakers.B-52 changed that when I invested in the Act15-15 system.Combined with the Act18 powered subwoofers,I would challenge any one to find a system with this kind of output and killer bass.Exellent warranty and considering you will not have to fork out money for any amps makes this a easy decision,especially once you here them for yourselves.Highly recommend.

    These things blow every speaker in this price range out of the water. I use 2per side along with the lx-18a/lx18 subs. so loud and clear for indoor and outdoor venues. combined with a driverack px this system can beat out systems that are double the price.

  • BEST BUY IN ITS CLASS, COMPARE TO JBL OR EV

    I have a set of B-52 ACT-1515 coupled with a set of ACT-18 subs. MY BANDS LOVES THEM! We have yet to run short on power headroom in any night club we have played, even the larger rooms. They are clean and "breathy" in tone. Other musicians almost always comment on our P.A. with respect and admiration. Now for another great compliment: Set up time is only a forth of a passive system. No amp ramps to cart and wrestle. Set up is as simple as an XLR from the board or snake to the sub. All crossover, compression, limiter, equalization, and speaker protection are built in. Each ACT-1515 cabinet is pumping out a brutal 1000 Watts RMS. The ACT-18 subs are 800 RMS until you connect the matching B-52 passive cabinet, then you get 1200 RMS. We use a nice 32 channel board with built in FX and that eliminates carting an outboard rack too. We get compliments every place we run this P.A. Set up is lightning fast. The Baltic Birch cabinets are rugged and the electronics reliable even under demanding use. I plan to double my stacks as soon as I can. This same system in JBL cost 60% more. Why buy anything else?
