The best interface in it's league!!!! Avid you really out did your selfs with this one!!!!

By Edify

from Pensacola

The Mbox pro 3 is one the best out there hands down!!! the sound quality is pristine you get exactly what you here. It has better preamps better converters & a better clock that leads up to a overall much better sound. If you don't have one or your thinking about getting one go for it.it has no mix knob like the last mbox series so you don't that extra feed back & latency. I would give it 10 stars if they had the option to.

This is what you need to go to the next level

By Milito

from Leesburg, VA

If you are in a band and want to go to the next level, this is the product to do it. It wasn't what I expected, its more! You can record, and mix your music with this package, and the included samples and loops do not dissapoint. I got a little depressed at first because I couldn't get it to work, but with support from Avid, they helped me to get this thing running and recording. It is very sturdy and heavy. The only drawback I experienced is getting this thing to work, because you got to change some system settings, but once you change them everything just flows. Five stars.

Setting the Record Straight for Avid

By Sherwin

from Birmingham, Alabama

I have nothing but good things to say about Avid, Pro Tools 9 and the Mbox 3 Pro. Yes, it was somewhat of a wait for the new Mbox 3 Pro to arrive; however, the results of my sound quality has improve beyond measures, and to say the least, well worth the wait. Look people, wake up and except some responsibility if you're expecting to become a professional. All of us at some point in our musical careers experience defected gear from time to time. Its not uncommon, not even from some of your top name product manufactures. Just send it back and get a replacement. Stop making excuses to avoid the learning curve of using industry standard products such as Pro Tools and Avid Hardware. The worse you can do is dumb down for cheaper purchase and less quality.

Disappointing

By Jose

from Miami Beach FL

Really .. really disappointing. I have the Digi 002 and I bought the Mbox Pro because I thought it will be great to improve with the new interface, pre amps and sound quality plus the new pro tools 9 But when I got the Mbox Pro the Mic - Di 1 & 2 didnۡt work!!! the Line inputs 1, 2, 3 and 4 didnۡt work either. The headphones ۡ̏Bۡݕ_ didnۡt work too and the worst is that comes with Pro tools 8!!! that I already have. You have to purchase Pro tools 9 to have all the new options Pro Tools have! I returned the Mbox Pro and definitely I will not buy it. I don't know Logic but looks like is going to be my next option! Bad for Avid and Digi design.

why is this taking so long?

By jacob

from LaVerne, California.

Okay, i've used the pro tools mboxes and they always work great. the problem with this one is that the date is continually being pushed back! I was excited a few weeks ago when it was told to come out and then the date was pushed back to november 11th and today I come on and it is pushed back AGAIN to december 12th. This is ridiculous to say the least.
