Overview

Need a mic thats versatile enough to go with you from the studio on to the stage? The Audix f55 is designed for a wide range of applications. With its warm, natural sound reproduction, the f55 resist feedback and is able to handle very high sound pressure levels without distortion. This multipurpose dynamic vocal microphone is characterized by its tight and uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern, which helps to isolate the vocals from the rest of the instruments on stage.

The f55 is designed to sound clear and full-bodied with a wide frequency range of 50Hz “ 16kHz. The f55 is well-balanced, comfortable to hold, durable and manufactured with very high standards and tight tolerances. Roadworthy construction includes a precision cast zinc alloy, black e-coat finish, steel mesh grille, gold-plated XLR connector and heavy-duty ABS clip.

Comments about Audix f55 Cardioid Vocal Microphone:

Saw this deal of the day at GC, and did a quick double take because I just popped in to see what was happening over there on black friday. Bottom line is I was in the market for a sm 58 and was literally going to pick one up for the holidays once a sale hit; saw this daily deal and the price was insanely low. Friends of mine have used Audix products and found them to be reliable and well build and with solid sound so I decided for the price, i didn't have much to lose. Take note, if you see that deal pop up again, which it will, do yourself a favor and get a few of these things! Got it shipped for 32 bucks, the mic is basic but with a solid build. Plugged it into a small practice amp, and it was fine but dragged out my trace elliot two channel acoustic amp and did the acoustic on one channel and the mic for vocals and it was sounding really good. I'm sure there are better dynamic mics out there, but it was doing a killer job for that use, i also tried it on the instrument itself and that was working great so it would do double duty for outdoor live situations where you need to boost your acoustic/classical guitar sound at the gig with minimum feedback issues. The need for a good dynamic mic or three comes up a lot once you start recording and gigging, so with prices like these you can't go wrong. I would use this for recording as well, just ran through my ISA 1 to get the best sound possible. Killer buy, highly recommended and i'll have this thing for years if treated well which it will be.

Comments about Audix f55 Cardioid Vocal Microphone:

I bought this Audix mic because it was on a black Friday sale and at an awesome price! Over all, it's a good mic. Good, clear sound, it has some weight to it, which I like. I use it mainly in our rehearsal studio.
